I could see the gold/gold and burgandy. That might be cool. I would maybe like to see the all burgandy top/bottom with a dark gold striping. I can't go along with the yellow pants. I don't care what color top you use but the yellow pants look sorta gay. We have tried an all white and an all maroone(LOL) but have we tried all yellow(hay) or gold with burgandy striping/white numbers. It might look to much like GB but it would be different. Dark gold bottoms with a burgandy stripe w/ white striping highlighting stripes. Dark gold jersey with burgandy numbers and stripes on the sleaves and white highlights. We can either use the current helmet or go with a burgandy helmet with a dark gold arrow or "R" on the sides again highlighted in white.

If I deciphered that right, I think those uniforms would be as hard on the eyes as that paragraph you just typed! ;)


I hope we never change the uniforms. I think they're the best looking uniforms in the NFL and that's even without my bias. They look GREAT the way they are. They're a design that would never go out of style and aren't ugly like many of the modern uniform designs (Titans/Broncos/Bills/Eagles).

The Jets have another one of those designs that always look great, although they took a break from them in the 80s and 90s.

I [B]HATE [/B] the "Storm" and pink jerseys....and now I see on redskins.com that hey are making "Alloy" jerseys. I understand the financial motivation, but man, those things are stupid. If you are a Redskins fan, what's so bad about wearing an actual Redskins jeresy???

Ok, you got me. sorry bout the read. LOL. I like our uni's but I like change
once and a while. Just like the 49ers they are getting boring no matter

how much you tell me they are time tested. I only like the colors of the Jets not the emblem. Titans suck. Broncos actually look better then they

did in the 70's-80's. Eagles have pretty much only changed their color to a darker green and some suttle changes to the logo.

why would you want new uniforms. I like the ones we have our uniforms are the redskins, thats the uniform i root for every week. no point in changing them, anyone who wants them changed is just bored. vikings and falcons new ones are awful and cardinals aint that great either.

I love the uniforms they wore against the Giants in week 3 - the yellow Block R helmets are great. the ending to that game was brutal though.

I love that uniform to death. They should wear that every Away game. At home, they should wear the uniform that we have now.

I think its cool too, but we were supposed to wear it 2 other games this season. We lost that game after being up 17-0 at the half. Any guesses why we didn't wear it again?

I would like them to go back to the older uniforms. Mustard pants with burgundy top for home, and away with the white top. Leave the helmets the same. This was the uniform in the early and mid 70's.

I think the "tribesman" head is a little offensive. Objectively, it is overly offensive whenthe term "redskin" is used after that. If you interchaged the concepts with most other races or ethnic groups most, if not all, of us would be crying out for action

I think we should go with the spear that was on the anniversary helmets, keep the name, and invest into projects and program for native american and the needs relevan to their community.

IF we were actually offending Native Americans, I'd be with you. The only people really "offended" are white guys sitting in taxpayer-provided offices in D.C.

Another argument that needs to DIE. I wrote a research paper about this way back in about '91 in Junior High School and how actual Indians either don't care or are honored by the Redskins and sports team names.

It's popular to be "offended" though.

I do not want them to change the colors or the logo, but the pattern on the jersey and pants could use an overhaul. Something like the Broncos or Titans

Thank you. Although, the colors aren't that great either. Denver was better in orange.

I liked the old Pats uniforms, but the old helmet logo was too old. THe old Bucs uniforms were wild, but I though they were cool and stood out. All the expansion teams went with black and teal. Even the Lions wear black for home jerseys often now. These alternative jerseys are indeed just a revenue generating gimmick.

We should never change our uniforms! Everytime I see someone wearing a Skins jersey or the team on TV, I get goosebumps! NEVER CHANGE THE CLASSIC LOOK!

didnt realize how similar they are. lol.... I wouldnt be against wearing an alternate jersey once or twice a year. I really like the black ones that are selling on Ebay. I say we wear that with the burgandy pants, and special addition black helmets that look the same as the ones we have, just black. And heres the kicker, we should wear them in Dallas when we play the Cowboys. That way we are dressed for a funeral!!!
