The only thing I can find is from '97. The Skins were 6-5-1 heading into a game against the Rams and lost 23-20. If that's what the guy was referring to it's pretty lame. The Skins were already collapsing at the time when the lost to the Rams, having just come off that infamous 7-7 tie to the Giants where Westbrook tossed his helmet and Gus butted his head into the wall.
We played STL in 06. Steven Jackson and the entire STL offense just went off and Betts fumbled the game away. These guys are very cabable of coming in here and putting up points.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

Despite their record, the Rams have some talented players and will eventually unload on some unsuspecting team. I hope that is not this week, not against my beloved Skins. The key is stopping Steven Jackson and getting ahead early. If the Skins do that, this game will be a piece of cake and the backups should get some playing time. But if the Skins get off to a slow start and give these guys hope, it could be a long day. I predict the Redskins will jump on them early and often.

Redskins 38
Rams 17

Yeah but '06 wasn't a good year for the Skins. Hess said the guy told her the Rams beat the Skins one year when they were off to a good start.

Speaking of god Rams - You guys need to watch "Hunting Rams" on Cooley's blog. It is great.

I don't see our O going crazy, but likewise I can see our D playing as well as they have the last two weeks. I don't think the Rams have the offensive weapons to hurt us that bad.

Skins 28
Rams 14

I just found out I have tickets to the game(that truly made this a TGIF moment), the first for me since they changed the Metro rules. What's the best way to get to the stadium now? (if this should be somewhere else on the board, please move appropriately) Thanks

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

i'll go contrarian and say Skins control the game, but its relatively tight and boring. Skins 14, rams 6.

However, with a new head coach in Jim Haslett and coming off a bye week, these guys are fighting with a dangerous combination of pride and desperation. If there ever was a trap game this year for the Skins, this is it.
agree with this part totally, also the part where we need to stay focused,I think we will win,but I'm taking the rams and the points
man I just knew this game was a trap, everybody knew, just didnt want to believe it would happen

Well I guess it's broke now. Now I can switch up my predictions after five weeks of saying the same exact thing...although I was right.
