Daniels is the perfect person to teach/mold rak-o-sack the ropes. He is a true professional, knows the system in and out and loves the weight room.

Daniels came into the league at about the same weight, and the guy has really been a rock his whole career. It's good for a young talent like Rak to have alot on veteran wisdom to draw from on everything that is football from conditioning to on field conduct. He's lucky to be surrounded with helpful advice.

You are correct. But seeing what the new boy can do in different positions well before the games count is a reason for putting him there. It is positional due diligence, if nothing else.

I dunno if we should move him from position to position on a year to year basis. If he has to gain/lose weight and have to learn a bunch of different stuff he can't get really good at one position. We're using him at LB because we have a need there, but that may not be where he is best or what is best for his development.
