Here is hoping that the Post and Snyder can put the past behind them now, and get some good "insider" information going. Still amazing that the Fredericksburg reporter always seemed to have better reports than the Washington Post

I think Ried either simply worked from his desk & didn't get to the park enough to forge relationships w/players, or Synder et al gave everyone at Redskins Park pretty explicit directions to keep things in-house. Remember when E.Byner was let go as RBs coach? He was one of JLC's best "insiders." Don't know if that had anything to do w/it, but I did notice that since then the wash post. from JLC's later days to the present really hasn't had much in the way of breaking news on the skins, it's usually 2nd hand.
