Tie game!!!

0-0 LMAO. Afterward Zorn will say we moved the ball really well and Hall will say Snyder wasn't rooting hard enough.
Will get used to me predicting that skins will win. Because every week I will find the positive and post how it. I was right on how we would come out and play. Two plays ruined my crediability with you, the long pass by JC that was dropped by the reciever that could have easily help close the coffin. And that horrible punt play that cost us the game. But trust me this week we will win.
You also said that we'd turn the corner and light up the panthers. Even if we get those two plays we don't hardly blow them out.

Why is it even close enough that the punt play made such a tremendous impact on the outcome of the game?

If you're a homer that's fine...just say so. But since this site is for the knowledgeable fan don't try to prognosticate like you're speaking from an informed perspective.

I don't know why you want to rally everyone's trust to you every week. Can't one's blind faith and obvious lack of fundamental football knowledge be kept to one's self?

Your right, We dont blow them out if we get the two plays back and we havent turned a corner we are still going straight into despair. Also that punt had an impact on the game it lead to the winning touchdown. I dont know what a homer is, as for being a knowledgeable fan Im sure i read the same info as you. And as for trying to rally everyones trust Im not. Im just not trying to be so negative every week. And as my lack of fundamental football knowledge it can be kept to myself, but it wont.

No problem with being positive, it is better than being stuck negative. I won't lose all hope til the 1-2 weeks after the bye. Marty turned it around after the bye in 2000, so maybe Zorn can. Thing is Marty was a HOF coach like coach Gibbs and had a stronger team depth wise in my opinion. Marty could run the ball with the guys he had and made good use of them. Coach Zorn doesn't have the right guys for what he wants to do. Not only that, but they are playing at a subpar level from what was expected of them from us fans during the offseason which makes the situation look even the more dire.

We can win this one with 17 points if the weather is nasty. I hope CP gets over 100, since that will dramatically increase our chances of winning, plus he is my feature back on my fantasy team.

You're positivity is appreciated but not needed. Most of us on this board are grown adults so we're fully capable of emotionally handling these Redskins losses without a couch session with the phychologist of optimism.

What I do appreciate is meaningful insight from informed individuals. Don't bother asking for my trust in you if you can't contribute that to the conversation.

Huh, based on what? Marty is not a HOF coach, because he's not in the NFL Hall of Fame.

What kind of players does Zorn need to succeed?

The offensive line is going to play much better this week.
Last week 2 guys were playing out of position Batiste and Williams.
Now Heyer moves to LT a position he's played well in the past.
Williams goes from RG to his natural position as RT
Montgomery goes to the RG spot where he was backup 2A with Rhinehart who was playing well prior to his shoulder injury.

Now where will this improved OL play lead?

I think Zorn will stick to the running game until the bitter end.
Hopefully we'll be able to find some running lanes.
If we don't find running lanes Zorn will just keep calling run plays.
Then mix in some play action.
I expect alot of I-form.

If we're losing Zorn will turn to the passing game in the second half and we'll move the ball.

I want to see Zorn come out passing.
I want to see JC in shotgun early and passing on 1st down.
I want to see 3-4-5 receivers sets with some quick passing.
Pass to set up the run.

Skins 20 KC 16

Cassell has thrown 100 straight passes with out a pick and has 7 TD's wouldnt it be nice to break that little positive thing they got going.

wow Matty,Im shocked by this, for you to predict we'll lose to an 0-5 chiefs team really shows how far we've sunk.Weve had our disagreements in the past about the state of this team but I could always count on you to be positive,so for you to predict us to lose to this shitty ass team makes me think even the most faithful have come to the conclusion that we really really suck.
I for some reason have a good feeling about this game,I think we win and its not that close.Dont have a prediction for the final score, but i dont think its going to be a nailbiter. If we lose this game there is absolutely no help for us this season,we have a good chance of getting a top 3 pick in the draft

Rinehart Questionable for Sunday

The Redskins have added guard Chad Rinehart (shoulder) to their injury report and listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs at FedEx Field.

With backup guard-center Will Mongomery scheduled to start at right guard, rookie center-guard Edwin Williams could be active this week. The Redskins plan to bring in linemen to audition for the practice squad, Coach Jim Zorn said.

You're probably right about Zorn , we can only hope VC is gone too . I say clean out the underachievers , guys falling off because of age ... and start a honest rebuilding , of mostly hard nosed football players .

Let's pray we don't have any more injuries on the O-line or JC might have to play there. Any injury on the line Sunday could spell real disaster.

I just wish JC knew how to play QB.....O-line might be his real strength? ;)

They better have Runyan, Jones and Kendall at Redskin Park tomorrow so after the game they can sign them all.

I concerned with what we have, not to mention if there are further injuries.

Re: What do you expect this Sunday, Skins vs. KC

I expect the skins to win. But they will win in a low scoring, poorly played game. Which in my mind is worse than a loss because I will still be upset that we suck, but we will have less of an opportunity to get better because we will have lower draft picks.

Cold and rainy day here in the Metro area tomorrow. Only 48 degrees. Expect a poorly, sloppily played game by both teams.

Re: What do you expect this Sunday, Skins vs. KC

Unfortunately, this is game really is the turning point in the season.

If we don't win convincingly, we go into a bye week where tons of criticism will fall on this organization.

The next game will be a Monday night 'home' game against Philly. But there will be at least the appearance of more Philly fans than skins fans in attendance.

That will put us on national TV against a team we are simply over matched against and in the weeks to follow we face the likes of the Broncos, Saints, etc.

I have dropped nearly $20,000 on season tix, and unfortunately all in The Dan Snyder era.

Which means not one playoff game at home in this millennium.

With the wind and conditions, I'm calling it 16-13 skins, with the defense scoring.

Skins win, but not a good win.

i wish colt brennan was able to play. just in case the skins are still struggling going into the bye, colt could start and we could finally find out if he's worth anything or not. that way we would know for sure if we need to get a starting qb this offseason.
