inside or outside if that same d shows up that played the pats, we aren't scoring over 17 and 17 is a stretch

17 is fairly close to our average so you're probably closer to being right than wrong. It's just the fan in me that makes me think we're going to win every game we play. Is that realstic? No. it's just the price I pay for being a true Redskin fan.

:laughing2 I'm the same way. That's partly because I know each week there is a way to win. Unfortunately this year, we either don't find it, or are unable to execute it. :(
I smell a trap.

Saints have big emotional game, go on the road ona short week. Skins have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Skins have lost by ten points or more only 3 times this season. Defense always seems to keep it close.

Only caveat is that Greg Williams knows both teams.
Skins at home, short week for Saints who might be caught napping a bit.

Skins are inline for an upset.

Skins - 21
Saints - 19

That may be a stretch, but with the spread being +9.5 for the Saints, I think the Skins cover well and that is where I am placing my bet.
My reasoning exactly.

Who dat gonna beat dem Saints? We dat!

Skins only lost by 10 or more points 2 times this yr, (10 to the eagles the first time and 14 to the falcons) but im thinking pretty much the same... and hoping it comes true. 23-21 'Skins.(I SURE HOPE THIS IS HOW IT GOES)

I'm not laughing. The skins always play up or down to the level of their opponents and they'll continue to do so until we clean house. The skins may not win the game, but it'll be close.

I might as well say it. I had a crazy ass dream last night about me being at the skins game this coming weekend watching from the sideline. I was sick in my dream, which I have a head cold now, but Brees left the game injury from a non contact play. We won close, and for some reason Fred Davis had a monster game. Im going with my sick dream and revising my early prediction Skins 27 Orleans 23. Im dreaming about the Skins, ok I think I need therapy.

If the Skins beat the Saints it'd be the upset of the year.

Saints always seem to start off slow and then pound teams into submission.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

Remember that MNF game several years ago when the Skins still with Neon Deion and Bruce Smith smoked the Rams at St Louis when they were still the greatest show on turf? I can see it happening as we are improving slightly every game the past few weeks and they might be just riding the waves so to speak.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I think we can keep it close if our defense and special teams and score some points. So far our defense has not scored a defensive TD this season, and we are due. I hope the weather can be a factor to slow down the Saints offense as well. Our offense is missing alot of starters especial on the O-line and RB position which will hurt us. So if we can generate points from the Defense and Special teams we can keep it close but we lose i the end with the score 34-24 Saints WIN. We jsut dont force enough game changing plays on defense IE. 2 drop picks vs Cowboys we dont make the plays when the opportunity presents it self.

Re: Saints predictions anyone?

I am expecting to see the Saints keep with their standard offensive balance and run the ball slightly more than half the time. The Redskins run defense, ranked 25th, will have difficulties stopping the Saints 5th ranked rushing offense. I can easily see three rushing touchdowns and one passing TD. While they could score more if they opened it up, I am expecting more of a ball control approach this week.

On the other side of the ball, the Washington QB (Collins is my guess) will be seeing tremendous pressure all game. I really doubt they will be able to get much established offensively.

I am not expecting as much scoring as some have guessed. Payton isn't one to run up a score ala Belichick. My prediction is 38-13 Saints with the 5th TD coming by way of special teams or defense.

I am concerned about the hit that Campbell took at the end of the game, especially with the recent emphasis from the league on head injuries. What is his latest status? What has his practice status been this week?

Okay, thanks. I hadn't been able to find much on the situation. Still, I don't see much difference this week. Campbell should be seeing a solid barrage of corner and safety blitzes.

Where would I find the practice participation report for the Skins? I always get the Saints tweeted daily by the Times-Picayune beat writer, Jeff Duncan. The official injury report should be coming out later today.

True. I had seen that. But, I still expect the Saints to be keeping to the ground quite a bit. Although, Payton will still take a few shots down field just to keep the defense on their heels.

It wouldn't surprise me based on how dramatically he turned around our defense from last year. We were amongst the worst in the league in turnover ratio, and now we are among the best. And while we may appeared to be in the middle of the pack in defensive yardage allowed through the air and on the ground, we are leading the league in red zone defense, defensive touchdowns and takeaways.
The NFL Injury Report
Thanks, are you expecting Haynesworth to play?

As for the Saints, I am expecting Lance Moore and Randall Gay to be out again. Tracey Porter is a definite out and is still about 2-3 weeks from returning. Jabari Greer and Reggie Bush could have both played last week, but Payton has the tendency to hold players less than 100% out as long as there is a healthy body to fill the position. It wouldn't surprise me to see them sit one more week.

An added concern is Mike Bell who limped off the field late in the fourth quarter Monday night. It may have been nothing, but it did raise a red flag for me.

If it's an MCL it usually takes 2-4 weeks depending upon position. A lineman that requires little lateral movement could be back toward the lower end, but a skill position player like a WR, RB, CB or safety would definitely require the upper end. The Saints' Mike Bell, Pierre Thomas and currently Tracey Porter all missed, or will miss, the full four weeks with that injury. Nose tackle Sedrick Ellis also missed four weeks, but could have came back as early as two weeks, but Payton held him out until the Patriots game to have him at his healthiest.

HE DIDN'T GET HURT ! THE DUDE LIED ! I'm so serious, he is the only guy who blacks out with no problems later. I heard this morning that the bastard said that his right arm went numb too. SERIOUSLY ? Right arm went numb, blacked out on the field, BUT, BUT YOU ARE A LOCK TO PLAY ? You cannot be serious. DeSean Jackson Blacked out, and you could tell when you saw him on tv. Jason looked like he does everyother time he throws an incompletion. If he completes that pass to Moss I BET he would've gotten his bum ass up right away.

For all you Campbell backers don't you think that with all the conserns about concussions now that there would be a little concern ? THERE IS NONE ! You know why, because he's not hurt. He's like fucking Sylar on Heroes, he heals himself. He's a damn X-Man.

So my opinion that he wasn't really hurt because someone brought up him possibly being injured is useless or not worth giving ? I believe I added that he wasn't even listed on the injury report which realative to the question/concern and is a fact. So you are right Dynamite that you can black out without having adverse effects or having a concussion. I ask you all if your starting Quarterbacks arm goes numb after a hit that he blacked out on; is that something that you would might want to check out ? I would like to think that you would.

So Matty I'll let it go, Buster You're Welcome, Dynamite I apologize for my ignorance, and GM since you're tired I'll turn the lights off and let you sleep.

No more beating of this dead horse from me
