do they have a slim case for it yet like the e-book readers?

one of those and a (forgive me for saying this) shoulder strap would be pretty ideal, slimmed down laptop bag type thing

seems like it'd be great to just chill on the couch with, check the weather before heading out to work, just a bit of coin for that

hopefully they'll eventually have a worthy OS on it or someone will port a Linux version to it that's stable and runs the apps

I bought [URL="http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC361ZM/A"]this case [/URL]from Apple, just got it yesterday. It's alright, but I'm going to keep shopping around for a better one I think.

built in stand is a nice touch.. I'd prob prefer just a gel sleeve with a strap though

Amazing game. And kudos to you for staying with the Skins through the late 90s till now. I was in Colorado when they won the 2 SB, and man my Skins Fandom was tested (I was expecting to stay there forever, and Denver was my AFC team, so it was more swapping AFC with NFC) but still stayed with us throughout. Hard to imagine not growing up a Skins fan and then dealing with the last 15-18 years.

Definitely got spoiled growing up a Skins fan in the 80s. I just thought it was a given that the Skins were going to be a playoff team every year and compete for a Super Bowl regularly. It's been some lean times since 1991 that's for sure.

funny I meet a skins fan last night that is 17, he has never really known anything but losing. the earlier SB keep me hanging on.

Nothing noteworthy about the new iPad and if nothing else it's shortcomings are glaring (no 4G, no flash support, no SD slot, no USB port, no increase in memory or changes to the display tech).

...I do love what Panasonic is doing with their tablet though...now that's kick ass innovation!

The Xoom, to me, is the tablet to buy. I don't see myself as a tablet guy. Most of the time when Im watching TV I want the keyboard to chat, read/post to forums, etc.

So the wife and I bought iPad 3's today. It's my first tablet. I'm actually having my first Warpath experience on it right now.

So if you're an iPad user, anyone have any cool tricks or apps they want to share? Between my iPhone 4 and the iPad, I imagine I won't be spending too much time on my PC anymore.

Nice! I sold my iPad 1 and upgraded to the 3, the display is pretty amazing.

My issues with Apple have been well-documented over the years, but to be honest, I JUST wanted the awesome display and awesome it is.

Work insisted we have one, and the first thing I love is Apple TV. My wife and I can sit and broadcast wirelessly to the TV so we can both browse together (helpful for booking vacations). I also use it as a giant remote control to change songs, etc.

Well I currently use Roku. So I guess I need to ditch it for Apple TV? Tell me more about this mirroring thing? Also, it really want to get into reading books on this thing. Do you use the Kindle app?

Okay so forgive me if I sound like an idiot- but how do you buy books on Kindle? I have both the Kindle and Amazon apps, but neither seem to link to each other, and the Kindle app doesn't appear to have a "shop" feature. Neither are apps I ever really used on the iPhone.

You have to go directly to the Kindle store on Amazon.

I still rock the roku because it is easy for the kiddos to use but that apple tv mirroring looks sweet.

Droid Bionic has a HDMI out that you can do the same thing. Pretty cool.

I like my iPad2. I use it as a reader more than anything. Sometimes I watch Netflix or HBO GO (Game of Thrones Season 2!!!) on it.
