Also if this ends up happening then I wonder if this represents a shift in philosophy for Shanahan. Artis Hicks and Jared Gaither aren't exactly "Shanahan types" at least when it comes to their build.

the only place i've seen that trade rumor is wikipedia. and while wikipedia is a great place to read unbiased information on political candidates or learn how to self diagnose and teat a serious illness, i don't know if we can trust what it says about football rumors, especially when they involve the redskins.

I agree. I would make the trade and be more comfortable taking Bradford in the first.....or go o-line again if he's gone. Just knowing we have a young quality starting LT would open up our options.
