Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Gotta wonder what Pat Bowlen is thinking. He lets Shanahan go for this boy genius, he comes in and trades away their best players and since that 6-2 start they've gone 4-11. Thud.
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
They make too many mistakes and there no big defensive plays to speak of this season, so does anyone see how the Cowtards can win tonight?

Bowlen has no one to blame but himself. McDaniels comes across as an arogant Mr. Know It All. And to top it off they draft Tebow. That has to be one of the worst first round picks I've ever seen. Actually Denver's situation reminds me of ours 08/09. Hire a coach who really doesn't have much experience, starts off hot and then flames. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Good for Jason Campbell for being the QB on a record scoring Raider team..

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Bet Goodell is loving Broncos vs. 49ers in London next week. Great game to promote the NFL across the pond

It's being promoted as the "ugly American bowl". |

Yep. I heard it's being advertised as the "Severely Underachieving Matchup with 2 Lame-Duck Head Coaches Bowl." EDIT: Nice one SF. Didn't see that. |

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Romo is down
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Well. I guess Romo may be ok. Thought he may have dislocated his shoulder or broke his collarbone...
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Wow Dez Bryant
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
****ing Giants.
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
God we need to beat them this year. I am so sick of losing to the Giants.
Dez Fn Bryant.... Wait for the Cowboys collapse though. This game is far from over. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Now I kinda hope dallas wins especially if Romo is out for a week or 2.
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Dez is a beast but I'm ****ing tired of ppl calling him Irvin!! STFU Jaws
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Romo getting hurt for a long period of time and the Cowboys wining would not be that bad if you really think about it. Don't the Cowboys have the tough part of thier schedule coming up.
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
They play Jax next week and Indy after I think
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Gruden quit licking D Bryants nuts... I mean really. He isnt coverable. What has he done in the passing game? Nothing against us except get smoked a few times.
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Playing Jax, it would be nice for them to get them without Romo. They should beat them with him, honestly. Indy. No contest.
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Actually its Jax, GB NYG next 3
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
what a catch
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Newmans roughed up a little

I don't think Cowboys winning is bad, in fact it is probably better if they win, it gives us divisional tie breaker considering how close the division is. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Is Gruden trying to get the Cowboys job next year? He is all over them, just compliment after compliment it is really kinda sickening to listen to.
|

That's the rumor around here (john fox also) |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
I like nicks, giants are loaded on offense
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
8 tds for Nicks already
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Yeah, I know they are the scariest team in our division to be honest. We can beat them though! At least I pray we do. :)
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
They own us, but now we have Shanny!!
|
8 tds for Nicks already
He's like a faster version of burress and i rarely see Steve smith drop any passes. Their offense is nasty when on a roll. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Kitna is Brunell
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Dallas D isn't very good, IDK how thay are a top 10 D
|
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Yep... I dont get it. It is in YPG.
We are #2 in turnovers, top ten in sacks, top ten in PPG. So as bad as we have been in YPG, we are good where it really matters. |

Can he coexist with Jerry though? It would seem he and chucky would really butt heads. Fox needs a year off to get his swagger back. I would love foxie as our DC. |

Maybe, but he does that every week. If he likes a guy you're going to know about it. Still that would be very bad if Gruden got the job. Hopefully he takes the Cleveland job instead. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Gruden talks up everybody, he's been loving the Giants too.
Romo out with a broken clavicle. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
I don't get how the Redskins always play in close games. Take the Giants for example. They got destroyed by the Colts yet we went toe to toe with them. The Bears beat the Cowboys in a shootout yet we beat them by holding them to 7 points. Eagles kill the Falcons (possibly the best team in the NFC) yet we beat the Eagles.
It's weird, it's like the Redskins force teams to play an entirely different type of game. Yet I can't quite put my finger on what that type is. |
Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Romo is probably out for the season . Dallas is a 4-12 team
|

What???? Out for the season with a broken clavicle? Not sure if thats a season ending injury. Hog1 posted it in this in the other thread.
Prognosis Healing time varies based on age, health, complexity and location of the break as well as the bone displacement. For adults, a minimum of 3–4 weeks of sling immobilization is normally employed to allow initial bone and soft tissue healing, teenagers require slightly less, children can often achieve the same level in two weeks. I wonder if this will influence DBoyz preictions???
|
