Kind of off topic, but The Nuketown Map is my favorite in the game. I love 1950's nostalgia and especially nuclear stuff. Also the mannequins make me think of the game "Condemned", another fave of mine.

I play against bots in Multiplayer, and they are very challenging and rewarding.

Also bots dont whine or complain over the headset, and they don't quit when it looks like they are about to lose. If Bots are kept in with the next COD game, then i have found my new way to play...

I agree Solid. Nuketown is pretty sick. The smaller of all the maps creats more action. There are still a couple of camping spots but it is still pretty wide open. Nuketown is my number one. Next would be Launch and I forget the name but it's the one with the snow and the big satellite dishes.

My favorite gun is the Stoner ! Properly named for a guy like myself !!!!

Do they have Hardcore Team Deathmatch in COD Black Ops? I used to play the regular team deathmatch and it became annoying as hell in MW2. I hope they have it in Black Ops.

Nuketown is stupid IMO. It's the easiest map in the game. All you have to do is stay in the back(flowerbed on one side and shed on the other) and you can control the spawns.

If you run around Rambo-style, you won't win the game if you are playing people who understand spawning.

Yes they have HTDM in Black Ops, if that's your cup of tea.

In fact they have a lot more game modes compared to MW2, including gambling matches called "wager matches". Just search for a review on the web, but overall the game types are a huge upgrade over MW2.

Yeah I agree, easily the worst map in the game. Way too small.

I liken Nuketown to Rust in MW2. It's a rush. Not to play every time but it's different from the state size maps the game offers outside of it.

I hated Rust it was just lets run each other then all die respawn then run at each other and die again. Rinse wash repeat no skill.

Every multiplayer has these maps on Halo right now it is swords base everyone ones to this one room and floks just keep killing each other.

Just not a fan of the small maps. It becomes a total noob-fest, spawn in and die, spawn in and die... not my thing. Remember 'shipment' in COD4? Ugh.

Black Ops was my first experience playing Call of Duty multiplayer. I really like the fact that there are bots when you are like me and have no-one to play with. They have a really good game series going, and i hope they dont ruin it.

I heard the next game will be set in space...i really hope they dont do that. they should stick to period era stuff...there is so much stuff that could still be covered...

Matty that is hilarious ! Shipment was fun too. Like I said, the small maps are good every once in a while but I just don't like when the room votes Nuketown over and over. Once 7-10 games of Free-For-All is cool

I like Nuketown and the rush of it and everything but only in small doses. Luckily they put in the patch where you can only vote for the same map twice to prevent people from playing Nuketown like 5-7 times in a row. That's when it gets pretty annoying.

Yeah once in a while, fine. But over and over is just ridiculous and gets old, on any map.

What game modes have you guys been playing? I used to be a strict TDM or hardcore TDM, now I'm hooked on domination. Still haven't tried any of the wager ones yet though.

I like Free-for-All, Domination, Demolition, and Headquarters.

Wager matches are fun, especially if you want to try something different and you dont have a party to run DM or CTF, etc.

Headquarters is fun and Domination is great too.

I just tried wager matches today, absolutely loved playing one in the gun. Won first place my first time out, but ended up fourth my second time. That's just totally fun, knowing you and the other guy ran out of bullets and whoever gets the first knife wins haha. When I'm not playing that I'm usually doing headquarters, I seem to get the most COD point through that. I've gotten up to 5000 COD points in a single match alone with the help of contracts, but I still play other modes like team tactical occasionally along with search and destroy. Demolition is fun as well.

Black ops has its quirks like any multiplayer game of this scale, but I freakin love it. I had matches yesterday where I went 19-1 and 28-3 within 3 matches of each other haha.

I am addicted to the wager match "Sticks and Stones". I find it hilarious that scores can be reset with a tomahawk.

IS he suppose to be tea bagging him at the end? I hate when people do that it is so lame, it rules the land in Halo I didn't much of it in COD.

Black Ops just had a recent update to correct a lot of the bugs, including the spawning.

Also teabagging doesn't really work in COD, because right after you die it takes you to the kill cam. In Halo the camera hovers over your corpse for a bit allowing your opponent to teabag.

I think so, I thought it was funny in the video though. Don't remember the last time I've seen it in COD. I remember in SOCOM people used to do it all the time, so dumb.

That is true! I was just thinking COD had a more mature crowd, silly me!

I LOVE LOVE when someone is tea bagging in Halo and they get killed when doing it, especially if it is me laying the smack down!

Yeah numerous times. I prefer the opposite. When you prevent the assassination in progress of a teammate.
