#2- Prison changes people for better or worse. #3- Grossman did pretty well and with better protection the team will do better. #4- Sometimes players just don't fit the system, you would be just crapping yourself if the Skins did pick him up and he worked out better then expected. #5- why do you care so much about the Skins?
1) after knowing Plax's history and a scout would recomend him,.....I'd fire the scout .Vick's history in the NFL was better then Plax's and he's 33. 2) BS 3)...he's not under contract. 4)....lol that's it. 5).....It's not the Skins ,I'd say the same if it was the Iggles or Pats or Jets |

In either event thanks for the advise. 2- So it's BS that a person going to prison will either turn a new leaf and be good or get worse based off the fact they are in jail with probably harder criminals and will learn from them? Ok, now I know you don't know what your saying. 3- Your right but he's KS's boy. So if the team does not come up with some outstanding answer to their QB issue (lol, Beck, lol) then I'd presume he will get resigned because he knows the offense better then anyone on the team. Why didn't he show it? he needed an OL. 4- So again you know better and can absolutely say no one moves to another team and turns out to be decent based off the fact they fit the scheme? Ok. 5- Your statement really makes it sound like you have a vendeta against Buress. You'd say no to anyone because in your eye's he sucks. He might, or it might be he just didn't work out in the Giants system or for the coaching staff and needs a new location. I'm not saying it works for everyone because it certainly didn't work out for AH but no one will know unless Buress is given a shot. Somewhere. As others have said Cooley was most likely prompted to answer a question.... which WR would he prefer the Skins go after. He gave his answer. But according to you all players should simply say no comment and make sure they mention they are only worried about themselves. |

I look at it like if Justin Tuck decided to talk about how in the off season Albert Hayensworth has changed and will really be a great player , without ever talking to him or any other Redskin to see if what is said about him is true. |

Well, the long winded version takes an entire unit but I don't have time for that. And, if you want the more condensed, concise, and practically more truthful version, I would have to say the following. The United States Congress is no more than a rich, long-winded, hypocrisy of lobbyist-filled money grabbers who main goal is to get re-elected. |

“Probably Plaxico,” Manning said when asked which one would be more welcome in the Giants’ locker room. “He has probably fonder memories, winning a Super Bowl, that catch for the touchdown in Super Bowl XLII. Tiki just ended on a bad note. It’s really a shame, he should be remembered as a great Giants running back and a terrific player — because he was — but the way he went out he burned a few bridges. . . . So I think Plaxico would probably be welcomed back a little quicker.”
|

Amendment 1 lets Cooley talk all he wants, but it does not grant him any credibility whatsoever. Saying ignorant and stupid things is also an exercise of that "right". Hence, an exercise of a right does not necessarily result in a beneficial outcome.
Not only that, but a person telling someone else to not talk is not legislation per se. |

" Finally, there is the question of Burress’ character. Could he come out of prison a changed man, determined to live a life on the straight and narrow, devoted to football for as long as possible? Sure. But it isn’t likely. The Steelers let Burress go even though he was a valuable receiver because of his terrible work habits and refusal to be a team player. The Giants signed him despite these problems, but Burress missed so many practices and other team functions that the Giants fined him in excess of $100,000 during his time with the team." |
Re: Plaxico out of jail; on the radar of two teams according to Rosenhaus
I'm not saying he didn't deserve the fines, but dude.... the Giants HC is a tirant. He fined just about everyone. I think it all depends on how bad a team needs a player at any specific position. As an example, Inwouldn't recommend anyone picking up Haynesworth. Let him rot after getting cut, but the Eagles have a need and are interested so because the Skins hold his rights I'd say let's see what we can get. AH is just as lazy, but that won't stop teams from being interested thinking they can get something out of him that the Skins couldn't.
