you do know that on franchise mode, if you think the o line doesnt have the ratings that it "deserves", you can change anyones rating to make them a beast if you want to. just dont make all 99 rated redskins, lol.........

The commentary continues to amaze me with it's suckiness. Don't get me wrong I love the gameplay and that's what really matters, but man, the commentary is just totally effed up.

Only game i've ever turned the commentary off. It's glaringly bad and takes away from the experience of the game.

Hankersons nasty in this game too I forgot to mention.
I have a season with us... and a season with my created team "the immortals"... I have Rivers slingin to Hankerson and he's awesome. Start em off with short passes get em on a hot streak and start bombin it to em.

And who's got Ultimate Team? Got Marino, Rice, Payton, Sayers. Its awesome.

I really wish they would just cut way back on the commentary, make it more basic and simple. Less to F up that way.

I mean u can but....
Even Collingsworths corny quotes are better than nothing after I rip off a big gain... and I love hearing "HE PICKS IT OFF"... when I snag it

I tried turning it off and it's just odd to have nothing... I turned down the volume a bit so they're more in the background.

Anyone else noticing how much more frequent blocked field goals are? I'm playing all-pro and I've had Barnes block 3 of them so far.

Yeah I have noticed a few blocked FGs. Is it just me or when you hit a FG or PAT does it sound like the ball is hitting the uprights? Just another detail that's nagging me with this game. grrrrr

yup, ditto. I hate that, I have no idea what they were thinking when releasing this game... did anyone have the audio turned up when doing QA?

I'm still amazed the game made it to production with all the commentary errors. Worse yet I've heard they're not even planning on patching it.

Does anyone have a good online source for Madden info? I want to know more effective ways to play. I'm still trying to figure out tricks/etc that are effective. Im playing on Pro and doing okay, but I feel like its a lot more luck than anything!

All the people that bash EA and make claims along the lines of "Well, there's no competition, they just make 1 or 2 changes and pretend it's a new game every year," I usually just blow that off. But it's getting harder to maintain that point of view when year after year they set you up with these expectations and deliver a completely underwhelming product.

Only one time during online play has Helu and Hightower not combined for 125 yards rushing and that game Brandon Banks had 3 punt return tds in that game. I love Banks but I make it a habit to try and run the ball.

Probably because EA was working on a patch for NCAA 12. A patch that took over 2 months to release.


... And then on top of that the patch was broken. It made custom playbooks even more glitched and has rendered no huddle practically unusable.

Rexy can be counted on for me throwing at least 3-4 picks a game. I turned it up to All-Pro because I was playing on Pro and I was killing the computer.. I beat the Giants and the Cards 30 something to 3. It was ridiculous. But on All-Pro I'm throwing interceptions like crazy. All I can do is run the ball. So Hightower's stats are kinda pumped. Right now I'm in the middle of the season (playing against the Dolphins) and Rexy has something like 6 TD passes and 12 INTs. Ugh.

I use stallworth and AA in 2 Wr sets then use moss in the slot I kill it

I use Moss, Armstrong, and Hankerson in the slot. Stallworth as the 4th option most of the time.
