The Redskins and Rams play in the NFC Championship

The Ravens go 4-12;

Hightower leads the NFL in total yards from scrimmage;

Vick is benched by the 9th game based on his poor play (i.e. benching is not injury related).

The Pats go 3-13.

Jammal Charles is flop.
All of those seem like just terrible predictions.

That's the whole point. Bold predictions doesn't mean standard predictions like "The Pats will have a winning record" or "The Eagles will be good."

Now those are definitely bold predictions. Whether they come true or not, well done JoeR.

According to some sports pundits, Chicago may have one of the worst offensive lines this season.

If Tony Romo has at best an average season the Cowboys will win only three games.

VegasSkinsFan 09-01-2011 11:14 AM

Bold predictions

Portis will have over 300 yards rushing this year

Mcnabb takes the Vikings to the playoffs. (not so bold prediction he chokes)

Phillip rivers is MVP

Jamal Charles does not rush for 1000 yards

Chris Johnson comes back week 2 and rushes for 1800 even though the team goes 5-11

Cam newton has more combined touchdowns, rushing and passing, than interceptions.

Vick plays all 16 games

I'll third that. People go crazy on here, although I will admit our mods do a good job of keeping it contained to the appropriate thread.

I raise the pot.

My bold prediction is Michael Irvin will get caught having sex on the bathroom floor of the Texas stadium again. Only this time, he'll be giving it to... Tony Romo. Oh wait, that's not bold. That's old. Old news, sorry guys.

No it's simple.. 12 is a greater number then 10.

As a giants fan you better hope your team can actually score points this year.

Two more.

We blow out the Fats 49-10 and blow out Supreme Fatso's knee.

We end the Minnesota starting QB's tenure as an NFL starter. Hey, it happened last year. ;)

skinsfaninok, i need links. All his articles do not point to that sort of prediction.

Unless he made a 360 degree turn, I would have to call shenanigans on that.

I just cannot wait to smoke the Giants like a nice long cigarette after good sex.

Bold Prediction - Eli Manning will throw 4 picks, and the Redskins will score over 40 points in a rout of the G-Strings.

Giants are in for a longo seasono. They will be the basement dwellars in the East, and will only win 5 games at best. Mwahahahaha!!!!!!! Eli will also throw over 25 picks, and only 19 touchdowns.lol. I know, the last one not too bold, but what can ya do?

I don't know if Michael Lombardi is wishy washy, flip-flopping or whatever you want to call it but here's a prediction list that was first published on aug. 29.

NFL.com news: Season predictions: Our experts make their picks

Either way, I wouldn't take his predictions too seriously because I didn't get what the point of his red-chip blue-chip article at all.

Re: 2011 NFL Season: Bold Predictions Thread

Thanks warriorz. Hm, well I really don't know how to interpret what he is saying. Perhaps he thinks we don't have talent and have a lot of work to do, but will still win the East even if the Eagles are starting off on the right track?

It does seem more likely that he has been caught pissing into the wind.

Most accurate predictions in this entire thread. Congrats

I think it's safe to say, our team let us all down A LOT.
