This is what concerns me--- really bad communication on a third and goal. This stuff won't fly in the real season.

I doubt it, not that your logic isn't sound

Well, that is Niles Paul and not Santana or whoever. But I agree--can't do that when it counts!

For Beck, it's still going to take time--this offense isn't so easy. I agree about the upside--when he's on it looks very nice.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

On the Banks return, I did not see a good view fromt he goal line, maybe when he held the ball out it passed the goal line then started moving. OR was too close to overturn the ruling on the field.. Either way Banks , well any returner should either run it through the endzone or hand it to a ref and that will eliminate that ....

I've got a prediction.

If Grossman doesn't play this game.

He is the starter.

Why does Shanahan still have the starting Dfense in the game? :-)

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

on the same play to the other side, beck threw an int. Good to see him throw it away

JWsleep 09-01-2011 08:56 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Beck looks so much better on the boot.
Beck looks so much better on the boot.
He throws really well on the run.. Needs to get more comfortable in the pocket.

CRedskinsRule 09-01-2011 08:58 PM

Definitely hope Hightower can stay healthy and keep our running game going. The offense needs that if it is going to work.

tryfuhl 09-01-2011 09:01 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

So throw it away any other time... but now...

rbanerjee23 09-01-2011 09:02 PM

Wow, bad throw .. beck has been really inconsistent tonight

Ooops. Not good by Beck.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

I would have liked to see Niles make a play on that.

mooby 09-01-2011 09:04 PM

Does anything good ever happen when a qb tries to float it? I'm not qualified to say much about this game due to he shitty link I'm watching it from but thT wasn't a good throw

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

horton is frikkin gone. that was pathetic

Bucket 09-01-2011 09:06 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Beck didn't have his best game of football tonight. A lot of it was just throwing to 3rd-6th WR's. The pass to Paul should of beena touchdown if Paul runs his route instead of looking for a jump ball. Sellers looks like he is up to the same old thing on that pass at the sideline. Doesn't seem to run the right option route on that play just like last season

A lot of other things were Beck's fault. He looks outstanding on the boot, but struggles in the pocket throwing in between the numbers.

Grossman look awful on the boot from previous games, but throws well in between the numbers lol..

If only we could combine both QB's.

I still think Beck gets the nod as a starter

mooby 09-01-2011 09:07 PM

And a horse ollar? That's not gonna help #32 make the roster

Mechanix544 09-01-2011 09:08 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

and horton acts like big shit when the guy drops that pass in the flat and horton hit him after the play (and horton just bounced off the guy, lol)......god i hate that idiot. cut that worthless pos

Brody81 09-01-2011 09:14 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Beck needs to play another quarter. I defiantly think Rex will start next week, but i do like Beck as a backup.
Rob Jackson is a beast!!
He's having a great game. I've been waiting for him to get his chance. He should flourish in this defense.

Swarley 09-01-2011 09:17 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

First half standouts for me have been:

Markus White, Rob Jackson, and Brandon Banks.

Beck looks shaky out there and he seems to be playing with possibly losing the starting job in the front of his mind as opposed to the back of it.

I'll say you do, you're blaming him for something Reggie Jones did lol
