wrong twice over... no Robinson and no Choice was not activated in Hankerson's place. Instead they re-sign Stallworthless. He's like a bad penny that keeps showing up on tails.

Well, yeah I was wrong...so far....about Choice being activated and I don't think I said I thought Robinson would be activated.

I had HT as my flex and backup RB behind Bradshaw and F Jackson. I have Sproles and picked up Helu a few weeks ago. I am tight. Dumped Moss, and I keep Gaffney as my backup WR. I have Johnny Knox, but he is worthless and going to try and land Leinart as Schaub is a goner. I had him as my backup QB behind Rodgers.

I can see alot of what your saying, and don't necessarily agree. What I see is apples to apples is not concerned with the fans, but with building a winning team. I think leonsis thought more about that than anything, and I think the formula is the same. The draft, getting younger, and hiring the right personnel to scout and rebuild your team. I think that's how you become a good team. The more picks you have, the more chance you have at gaining quality players, the higher the picks you have, the more chance you have at getting the players you desire. I think that its basic statistics, and although there might be some differences, I think the essence of building a non-competitive hockey/football team into a competitive one is apples to apples.

Agree with much of what you're saying. I think how you present it to the fans we agree is different. And the level of patience you can afford with players, in large part due to no farm system in the NFL, is different between the two sports. Still, as much as I like Leonsis it is funny how he made some colossal mistakes but hasn't been accounted for them. All I want for the Caps is for them to finally perform in the playoffs

The typical Redskin fan is like a lite version of the Montreal fan. High-strung, impatient, and just a little delusional. "ZOMG, why Gauthier, why you tradez away Halak for that nobody Eller when we could have had Backes!!!!" "Assistant coach Perry Pearn fired, FO is classless". "Rebuild, what's a rebuild?" "We're contenders, we were one goal away from knocking out the eventual Stanley Cup champs"(similar to "we beat the Packers last year, we're close").

sorry meant to say don't necessarily disagree. What I was saying is that presenting the rebuilding process to the fans could definitely be a hit to the moneymaking aspect of the team, but in terms of winning and turning around the franchise, I think its apples to apples in that a youth movement/building through the draft/not expecting a superbowl every eyar needs to be the priority.

No matter how hard the task is at building this Redskins team, the one's in charge always miscalculate in terms of attaining the right personnel. Cerratto did it, and now Shanahan's doing it. This season feels like 2009 because the people who in charge of building the team right always mess up by selecting the wrong players to play for the team. In 2008 it was Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly. Since Shanahan's been the coach and been placed in charge of shaping the roster into a winner, I have to harshly criticize his acquiring the wrong quarterbacks. McNabb, Grossman, and Beck should never have put on a Redskins uniform. If Bruce Allen was picking the players, the Redskins would have gotten a decent QB via trade or free agency, and then drafted a late round QB pick.
