Starbucks Venti (24 oz)lite mocha with extra whip. Have had it virtually everyday for the past year and still able to loose weight because I keep track of my calories.

If you like one of my guilty pleasures (Bang Bang Shrimp from Bonefish Grill), give this recipe a try:
Bangin Good Shrimp | Skinnytaste

My wife made them a few weeks ago and they are very close and very tasty. I made the grilled version (Bangin' Grilled Shrimp Skewers | Skinnytaste) yesterday for Fathers Day and they are good as well.

Popeyes' 2 piece deal with biscuit, the one right by my first job runs a special on Mon-Tue where the whole thing comes with a drink and only costs 5 bucks. I'm gonna let McLovin' take the reigns on this one to describe how I feel about it:

My neighbor is actually a delivery driver for a local doughnut bakery. They send doughnuts home with him and starting last week, his wife has been passing them off on us since you can tell they've already had enough doughnuts.

So I've been eating a lot of doughnuts lately...which isn't hurting me since I'm bulking. I gained 2 pounds this week...which is a huge accomplishment for me. 6-pack still intact.

I have to keep them away from my wife though, she's not a hardgainer like me.

If you can get to Gaithersburg in a reasonable amount of time.....TRY this
Roy's Place
Been there since like 1970. Has 200.....Killer sandwiches. The original Roy owned it until he died a couple of years ago. I have had them ship me the occasional Raunchy Raymond or Sweet Lorraine on dry ice to Tx or S. Fl depending on where I was living at time.

^ What is grosser the fat guy or the kid with his mouth open next to his arm pit?

Monkeydad 06-20-2012 11:15 AM

Re: Guilty Pleasures: Food

That crevice is not his arm pit though...it's just a sweaty roll.

I don't understand how any adult can allow themselves to get anywhere near that point.

I know with my infant daughter who has some healthy baby rolls...you gotta keep those crevices clean or they get all sticky and nasty and can get sore...keeping up with that as an adult...gross.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, they don't all keep up with their cleaning. :puke:

OK, back to food.

A lady at the office brought me a greasy paper bag of some of the most amazing french fries I've ever had yesterday. They were like boardwalk fries from a beach with the skins on and peanut oil.

That was a great surprise.

Nice. There's another place near my job called Burger Delite, and their burgers are delicious, and they taste similar to Five Guys'. Their fries are excellent too, they use the huge crispy fries and they put the right seasoning on them. For only 5 bucks you can get a burger and fries, and it's about 7 total if you buy a drink too.

I'll 2nd this. I used to live a few minutes from Roy's. Great food. But it's at least an hour each time we'd go because it would take us at least 15-20 minutes to decide what to eat.

We picked blueberries at Welcome to Butler's Orchard | A Family Farm Providing Good, Green Fun & Local Produce for 60 Years for the first time this past Sunday, and I have to say they are way tastier from the source than buying them in the store. Picked 12 lbs of them, most of which hit the freezer. Some of them went into a blueberry pie that we ate on Sunday, and then my kids have scarfed the rest we didn't freeze. Gonna have to grab a bag out of the freezer soon...

The Cuban burger from The Burger Joint might be the greatest/most evil invention ever. It's basically a really good burger on a really well made bun combined with a Cuban sandwich (my favorite). It's got to be over 1k calories, especially combined with their great fries, but it's so worth it.

Do I win the best lunch of the day award? Eating some grilled kielbasa and homemade seasoned potato wedges right now.

It's not just any kielbasa, my father-in-law stocked up my freezer with the real stuff from a Polish butcher/deli on Long Island. Unsmoked in the casing that gives you a snap when you bite in. Takes a few hours to cook since it's raw but worth it. So much better than the Johnsonville junk from the grocery store.

Ahhh yes. Grew up on Thrashers French Fries down at the beach. Definitely the best. I can smell the salt and apple cider vinegar mix right now. We'd walk the boards with a slice of pizza and split a bucket of fries...our walking dinner.

Was down in Atlanta Sun-Tue for a conference. Monday night dinner was at Mary Mac's Tea Room > Home. If you are in Atlanta, I highly suggest going here.

I went with 3 co-workers, so we did the family style meal. Fried chicken, roast pork with dressing, meatloaf, greens, mac & cheese, fried okra. Usually I'll find something wrong with something in a meal, but I can honestly say everything was quite good. Cannot go wrong in this restaurant.
