Because he doesn't want to give MS or KS any props. Remember how he said Griffin would be a failure in dc?
Yeah was watching that last nite couldn't help but laugh to myself, he dances around the offense. I found it funny when the other annalyst said you know how this offence runs. |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
To be fair he did pick the skins though, and all that video was setup for it.
34 ppg scoring 31.5 ppg giving up(OUCH) |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
I caught that as well. I did find the report amusing in it's inaccuracy and more so that it must really chap his ass to speak....positively of the dreaded Skins.
Perhaps he'll be posting those thoughts in our "What grinds my gears" thread? |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Let's hope we fare better than this piece of meat does.

I personally would never punt(seriously even in our endzone, just have Griffin through a bomb and tell him if it aint open throw a 40 - 50 yd pick!)
lol you're kidding, right? I'd like to think most defenders wouldn't be dumb enough to pick off a 50 yard bomb on a 4th down... |

yes I was kidding. |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Hopefully the passing game will do well without Garcon. Hankerson, Moss, Robinson, Davis, and Morgan will have make their presence known today. I hope the offensive line has a solid game. Let's hope Morris rips off some good gains on the ground too.
|
If Garcon doesnt start showing up on gameday soon this whole FA class of 2012 is looking bust.
It is so Redskin luck for a guy to look great his first quarter with us then get a silly injury. |
Per Adam Shefter...Garcon is out again today.
|
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Skins have plenety of options at WR. Defense has to do it's job; shut down CIN running game and stop big plays in their passing game. Ready to forget about last week, that's for sure.
|
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
No Garcon per Adam Schefter.
No Garcon per Adam Schefter.
Great obviously it is something bigger then a sore foot; unreal. |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
The whole Garçon thing sucks, but at least it gives RG III a chance to build chemistry with all of his receivers. Do whenever 88 comes back we are that much more explosive.
God who ever thought explosive and the Redskins offense would go together? |

Its about time that we as fans were able to go to the games, or watch them, and actually get excited at the possibility of putting points on the board. The importance of RG3 cannot be understated. I just hope he stays healthy. He needs to stay in the pocket more. |
I always liked McNugget's until he came here. Considered him a class act and under-appreciated commodity in Philly.
Now, what a douche-nozzle. He's still issed he couldn't instill more confidence in the staff here than the REAL RG3 (Rex Daniel Grossman III) and then spit in the face of the franchise on the way out. He's awful as a analyst and a bum to boot. Just got crawl in a hole with TO McNoodles and be gone, please.
Never heard that one. Very nice. I'll look for an opportunity to pull it out of my repertoire. |

I'm guessing it could be something like plantar fasciitis. Any problems with the foot or toes can be tough, rest is the best cure. If you don't let it heal it will only be a problem all year long. |
This game will be determined by the Redskins ability to stop the Bengals Wide Receivers, oddly enough, I'm not too concerned about AJ Green. If I'm calling the defensive plays I'm leaving Cedric Griffin out on AJ Green all day. I like Cedric's size and he plays the ball well when it's in the air. I'm more concerned about Andrew Hawkins and Brendan Tate. Smaller speedy receivers seem to be our achilles heel.
We also need to send extra pressure on first down when the Bengals love to go play action. The Bengals are going to move the ball, I think they will be successful between the 20's, but I believe we can stop them and hold them to field goals in the redzone. ***Mark it here. BJGE will have his first fumble for a turnover this game*** Final: Skins 28 - Bengals 16
You got it! |

LOL. Well played sir. |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Defensive backs are the main priority for the Hogs this offseason. Free agency or draft we need some speed on the corners and Gomes can be replaced too. Probably has been beat to death but i had to get it out. Redskins could be and probably are the easiest team to throw against in the league. The front seven are money. The back four are not fantastic. That is really what I think oh by the way the defensive back field stinks.

Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
The secondary is a mess, but the future might be better than we think. Crawford looks like he is gong to be here for a while, and I really like what Berstine has as a skill set. I think both have a future here. The team definately and desperately needs a stud in the secondary, either at safety or at corner. Probably won't get a stud with a 2nd round pick, and might be difficult to sign a stud free agent without making some sacrifices.
And oh yea, they desperately need at least a tackle if not a guard and center. Gettis looked good, but LeRibeus needs plenty of work. Hopefully Compton gets a shot this year to see what he has to offer. Of course, Brown might be healthy next year?...Hmmm...nevermind. |
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Was it SS talking about Talib next year? I'd actually love that if he can stay clean off the field.
|
Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Wasn't me.

Re: Bengals @ Redskins: Lets Break it Down
Hmmmm, I remember someone mentioned that as a possible option. Anyway, I think it's someone we should target given that the price tag should be low based on his problems off the field.

the connection is Raheem coaching DB. I thought there was talk in the offseason if Talib Kweli was released here was a likely landing spot? I think it could be a strong possibility in the offseason. |

But I think its probably the hardest position to find a stud outside the first round than any other position. |

I don't think we need a stud, just some players that can be middle of the road. I also think less emphasis on cover zero may help. I was on WaPo and they were talking about a CB in Seattle that came from the CFL. They have good cover skills yet have 2nd tier 40 speed. Any thoughts on a Canadian invasion? |

This is why I will not cry if we use our #2 pick next year on the secondary. At least we'll be trying. |
