LOL!! I forgot about that. I think every thread had about 10 pages of three nippled women.

Do I even need to explain the pic?

12thman asking Hess out on a date to the horsetrack (I think?) was freaking classic.

His drunk thread was pretty classic too.

SBF was a maniac. Quake's first posts were funny.

The way Schneed10 crushed Jsarno with his whole girlfriend saga was epic too.

I think I did most of that crushing on that topic; S10 got him on the gambling.

I was around when it was a Yahoo Group way back when. There have been so many things over the past 10+ years, so many memories. It's been a great ride thus far, and hopefully it will continue to be so.

One of my fonder memories (because I helped push the envelope) was the creation of the Pineapple Je5us logo. Didn't realize one little logo I threw together in about 10 minutes would stir such a controversy.

I too remember fondly the xx00 posts, and I wrote at least one decent one.

I remember when I innocuously coined the term "Pineapple Je5us" it was all so innocent

Remember when I was the only person who still has the original avatar.

skinsfaninok 09-26-2012 10:21 PM

Lol I remember the love fest around here for Brennan. So many wanted him as the Starter. That's how bad our qb situation really was folks

hooskins 09-26-2012 10:27 PM

I remember joining in 05. I looked and posted in a few boards. The Warpath was simple and clean from a UI perspective and content-wise had great stuff. Still does.

I was kind of a loose cannon when I started here.

You were 18 then, i would hope so. I remember you back then, i joined about the same time. I also remember SS' pineapple jesus. And even more importantly, i remember question 3. One of the more funny and pointless endeavors of my life, trying to find that answer. I think the answer was Mark Brunell. :)

The drunk thread...did I ever tell the story? I was actually at a bar that had a computer, so I logged onto Warpath after several of whatever I was drinking. Rest is history.

The drunk thread is all civil now. Like, Matty's always talking about his acquired taste in beers and bourbon. We're so proper now. LOL

My favorite post of his is when he boost of having 150 plus IQ and how no one can handle him in a debate. I think Schneed crushes him a couple times about it.

Unfortunately, I can't open the link. I vaguely remember the huddle screen name, just don't remember anything about him.

SmootSmack 09-27-2012 02:56 PM

Re: Warpath Memories

Yeah link's not working for me anymore either. He was always talking about how we weren't smart enough for him, yet he felt the mods encouraged personal attacks.

My favorite was when he came out like Patton and outlined how we could beat ES, and we were all like beat them at what?

I'm still here. I know I've been a ghost the last several months. Just dealing with some personal stuff. All is good. I'm gonna be around more for the rest of the season.

I just did a search of his name and found his posts. Now I remember him, in terms of sheer arrogance, he was truly unbeatable. Clearly, he was so, sooo much smarter than all of us combined. How have we survived since he left us?

He made RR's innate hubris seem positively humble. ;)

I liked Ace, he was wayyy overly optimistic. He reminded me of Ned Flanders on the Simpsons. I think he used to post elaborate playoff scenarios when we were like 4-7 going down the stretch.

His 14-2 prediction is what I remember the most.

But I'm assuming he's got major life issues going on.

And I'm only bumping this because Matty mentioned over the mountain who's been MIA for awhile now.

I remember the countless times that GMScud and I were supposed to meet at happy hour or on the weekend and never did. I am pretty much ashamed of the rest of my contributions (or lack there of) to this site.
