I'm not sure. When I think of UMASS, I think of Julius Erving.
That's not what I'm saying. I hate the Giants. I hate their fans. They win 2 Super Bowls in five years and they got their chest poked out talking trash.
Hopefully our guys are taking all this in as motivation. Let's be honest...effort and intensity varies from week to week even among the best teams, but especially with the Skins. We can argue about the reason i.e. coaching/leadership vs execution/effort all day long...and we do lol. But for this game...let's come out swinging and put the hurt on NY win or lose.

That's it and that's all!!

This is from Ralph Vaccarino's twitter (he covers the giants for NYdaily news)
You probably didn't notice RGIII's most impressive play against the Giants last month. Justin Tuck said it was ...
... an incomplete pass. Really.

"Actually the most impressive play I saw from him was an incomplete (pass)," Tuck said. "He threw the ball away. It was going into our end zone in the tunnel. He broke contain, and guys are chasing him and I saw him do a backwards karaoke (a dance move) to get away from somebody. Yeah. Running full speed, flip his hips and do a backwards karaoke. And me and Osi were watching film and were like, 'Did he just karaoke?' Full speed. ... He threw the ball away. He backed up and did a backwards karaoke and he was running away from us and got the ball away. Like if I tried to do a backwards karaoke walking I might fall. He did it doing it full speed. He was running full speed to outrun us, flipped his hips, did a backward karaoke. That was pretty impressive." #NYG

This idiot is actually going to talk that shit, even after Rex Grossman torched their asses twice last year? Ummmmm, ok Justin. I'll take a Fred Davis closing statement over his dumb ass any day.

BTW Justin, does he think that David Carr would keep giving Victor Cruz the same statline? me thinks not. What a moron. After the big GB win and them running their mouths off all week, I think its time for a prime time ass whoopin. I wouldn't be mad at all if Deangelo comes out and gets a penalty at the beginning of the game for bitchslapping another receiver.

He must give DC's nightmares. You can't blitz him, he's deadly on play-action, big arm and accuracy, and one of the best runners at QB the league has seen.

IF it's the move I am thinking of then I love when he does that. All of a sudden he's like facing forwards, but running backwards faster than the defender is coming at him, and he flips the ball away. Absolutely love it.

Good thing they play better than they talk trash.
They sound like morons. I think we've already got a lead. These guys are probably having nightmares about RG3 and anticipating humiliation and looking foolish. The battles already began and we're winning. I think they feel an asswhipping coming on.
I think of Dr. J too when I think of UMass Smoot. This thread is getting funnier all the time! Did something just go over my head? Probably one of those jerkweeds I've been hearing about. Why isn't our 2nd string QB as good as our first? Very profound Justin. Is yours?

Re: Giants v Redskins - Griffin's 1st Rematch

This MNF game vs the Giants will tell me if this team really is truly not the Redskins of old. Over the last 5 years we have not showed up on the big stage. I will say that the Thanksgiving Day game was a start but this is against the Super Bowl defending champs. The Giants just rolled up the Packers last week and we play them at FedEx not exactly a safe heaven for the Redskins. When I was a kid growing up in DC i attended a few games at RFK and that was truly a homefield advantage. Teams knew when they came to RFK they were in for a long day. The fans were alot hostile towards the visiting team. Todays Redskins fans must be alot kinder and gentler. Stop being to friendly to the opposing teams fans. I know one thing Raider Nation fans put fear in opposing teams fans. I'm just saying make FedEx a living Hell for the visiting teams please. HTTR

I in fact do know the winning powerball numbers, unfortunately I do NOT know the day that they will win on :cheeky-sm

as for Kai, someone on the warpath said with extreme confidence that he would make his first 10, now that he has it just feels like he is due for a miss.

JPP would be the biggest blow to them. He's done so well against us. He didn't practice Saturday. Phillips should definitely be out.

They're also short at RB with Andre Brown done for the year. David Wilson has been unimpressive behind Bradshaw, who has been limited at practice this weekend and is listed only as "probable". If we can knock Bradshaw out of the game, they'll have the rookie Wilson and Ryan Torain on the field. Lets not forget about Kreg Lumpkin who they signed with Torain.

Nicks is not 100% with knee AND ankle injuries. Hixon is questionable.

Beckum at TE is OUT.

Victor Cruz looks like Eli's only healthy player on offense. :D

I'm not worried about a thing. I'm very confident that this Redskins team can win this game. We have RG3, Pierre Garcon, Alfred Morris, and an underrated offensive line that his pancaking the hell out of defensive front they've faced this year. I think the Redskins will go on an explosion tonight.

Did you check the stats BEFORE that GW pass?

We shut down both Nicks and Cruz.

Cruz had 54 yards and Nicks had 53. Bradshaw had a team-high 43 yards rushing.

That last play was just inexcusable. But, up until then, we had played a great game against their offense. It's a game we should have won, but it showed we can match up and can beat them. Garcon should put us over the top this time.
