Morgan is starting to warm up, 2 TD's in 2 weeks.

I like what I've been seeing out of Stephen Bowen, Barry Cofield, and Jarvis Jenkins. Jarvis Jenkins is starting to get hot. He's suddenly making an impact.

Speaking of props: This in from Facebook:

Redskins RB Alfred Morris has been nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week for Sunday’s performance vs. the Ravens! In addition, QB Kirk Cousins has been nominated for the NFL Never Say Die Moment of the Week!

“Like” to congratulate Morris and Cousins then be sure to place your votes for Rookie of the Week NFL.com - Pepsi Rookie of the Week 2012 and for the NFL Never Say Die Moment of the Week NFL.com - GMC Never Say Never!

Riley has 107 tackles on the season he has really stepped up this year. To put his season in perspective Fletcher has 109 so far this season.

I just saw RGIII has won rookie of the week 6 times. WOW I knew he had won it a few times but not that many.

A little off topic but I'm going to give props to Joe Gibbs. He's out at Redskin Park giving back to these players, holding seminars for the players (w/ Strayer University) so they don't run into the troubles that he did. He doesn't have to lend his time to do it but he does. Just another reason why he's such a class act.

Let's not forget the contributions Trent Williams and Kory Lichtensteiger are making on the left side of the offensive line. They both are playing like All Pros.

Let's also give props to Danny Smith for benching Brandon Banks....turned out to be a wise decision thanks in part to Richard Crawford's explosive punt return in OT.

Props are sacred. They are not meant to be handed out like candy on Halloween. :)

Re: Giving props...

Let's continue to give props. I want to give props to Kai Forbath for beginning his Redskins tenure in such a professional fashion. I just watched a DVD of the final preseason game this year against the Bucs and Forbath was punting for the Bucs. He had this hidden talent to boot FGs for all of this time and yet he was under the radar until he worked out for the Redskins.

I have this growing fear that Kai's first miss will be a chip shot that would have launched us into the playoffs.

Please don't make Forbath out to be Eddie Murray. Forbath is not incompetent enough to miss an easy 19 yard FG with a playoff birth on the line. If he did he would become the most hated man in Washington. He's not going to choke like Cundiff did against the Patriots in last seasons AFC title game. Forbath is the real deal.

Every kicker is that "incompetent." Even the best kickers miss gimme kicks sometimes.

Anxiety fostered by years of ineptitude. I have the same feeling and have to continually remind myself that history doesn't affect the current. Just because our past kickers have been bad doesn't mean Kai will end up bad. This is what it is like to have a team worth something. Constant fear and loathing of sports tragedy.

It would be nice to have a mulligan on that whole game.

Forbath seems to have nerves of steel to go along with a big and accurate leg. 9 of his 14 kicks have come from 40+. Nice.

Eventually he's gonna miss, just a fact of life.

Dallas kept him on IR for a year because they thought alot of him. He lost out to Connor Barth in TB - who has a damn good leg also. He wasnt really under the radar i just think there was no openings for him. We were really fortunate that this guy was sitting out there. Really fortunate.

I'm familiar with his history dating to when Forbath was at UCLA. Connor Barth is probably the best kicker in the NFL right now. I'm just glad Rackers, Gano, and Cundiff aren't kicking for the Redskins anymore. Forbath so far has shown that he has ice water flowing through his veins on very field goal attempt.
