Brady's everyone's favorite piņata QB to bash on and I have honestly never understood it. All fans of the other 31 teams would love to have a QB like Brady, but few can admit it. This game has been absolutely amazing thus far though, easily game of the year. |

Wonder how the Broncos fans are going hammer John Fox about taking that knee with 30 seconds and 2 timeouts.

Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Story of Manning's career. Defense keeps letting him down. I'm still shocked how they blew that deep pass to tie the game.

The Denver defense didn't turn the ball over 3 times. |

SF's offense seems strikingly familiar

Ignore the pic at the end of the game, the fact his special teams spotted him 14 points... Keep blaming the defense when his play is obviously one of the biggest reasons they lost. Like I said, Denver was the new Indy, looks great in the regular season, loses in the playoffs. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
That is why Peyton is considered a bad playoff QB, that was a terrible decision and a terrible throw.
Sure, it was a bad pass, but he shouldn't even be in OT. Was it him that gave up a bomb TD to tie the game? Was it Manning that allowed shitty ass Flacco to torch them for 3 TDs and look like a all-star? Again, one person can't do it all. That defense let him down big time. If that were RGIII, you all would be crying to fire Haslett. |

It just proves that a good pass rush makes the whole defense better. The Broncos have been a good at getting to the opposing QB's all season and today they didn't and their secondary got exposed. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
I think both Manning and the Defense(specifically Bailey) blew the game, and just as much Baltimore stayed in it, and won it.
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Good for the Ravens. If they play the Pats next week I'll be pulling for them. If they're playing the Texans, I'm rooting for a good game because I like both teams. Amazing how it ended for Peyton tonight. I think equal blame can be assigned to the defense for blowing it and for the offense' turnovers. I honestly thought with how conservative Baltimore was playing offensively that the only reason they might win the game would be getting a turnover in Denver territory.

This is something I can agree with. I think they both played poorly. |

I highly doubt I would ask to fire Haslett. |

I will agree with this. The Denver defense and Peyton Manning lost them this game. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Not sure why Manning tried to throw that one pass where he was rolling out and he was throwing it across his body. Thought he'd be smarter and throw that away. That was crucial. Almost as bad a play as a defense (in prevent mode) allowing a deep pass to go for a TD.
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
And that is the reason why Brady is better than Manning. How many times has Manning thrown an INT in the playoffs? Enough to lose like 3-4 times.
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Ravens will win the Super Bowl now. They're the only playoff team remaining that lost to the Skins during the Regular season.

I hope Houston, Baltimore or Atlanta wins it. A lot of deserving players on those teams. And Houston and ATl has never won it |

Yeah, it was crazy that Baltimore was able to get deep bombs for TDs at the end of each half. Worse than the Cruz play if you ask me. No way that you aren't telling your deep safety not to let anything get behind you. Manning was looking tired by OT. I don't think he threw many passes further than 10-15 yds in the 2nd half. They also struggled on 3rd and shorts for as well as their running game was doing. |

I hope either Ravens or Falcons, only because I placed bets in Vegas before the season started. I also bet on Bengals and Redskins too, it would have been a good payout for these two bets. |

I'll change my description of Manning's play from poorly to mediocre. It was good enough to win this game, but he does share fault in this loss along with the defense. There is no way in hell that defense should have given up 38 points to a shitty Baltimore offense. They most definitely played worse than Manning. One god damn sack on Flacco? Only 3 QB hits? It reminded me of our defense in the early part of the year. |

Pass rush is the key to having a good defense, look at the top D's this year all are able to get to QB. Even top D's this year have bad games when they didn't get to the QB. So as bad as our secondary looked this year, just look at Denver's today. |

Mediocre doesn't usually win you playoff games. But I personally believed he played poorly. Manning was not the sole reason they lost this game, but he sure helped them. If your QB turns the ball over three times, and one was returned for a touchdown... you will probably lose the game. It was a combination of both. Poor play erratic play from the QB, defense allowing big plays, teams won't win many games that way. The only reason the Broncos were in that game was cause of Holliday, neither their offense or defense showed up today consistently. San Fran Green Bay game looking like it will be exciting, a pick 6, a fumble at the goal line... A crappy wildcard weekend forms into an amazing divisional weekend. |

Most time 3 turnovers usually means you are going to lose the game. Not even going to bring up not going for it at the end of the game with 30+ seconds left, full set of time outs and Manning as your QB. What was Fox thinking? He still stuck back in Carolina with Delhomme? |

Go for the win, don't play not to lose. Rogers just threw a terrible pass. |
