Ryan Swope is retiring before his first training camp. Apparently the concussion symptoms arent going away. I know a few wanted us to draft him, glad we didnt.
PG says skins could have the best offense ever
With a healthy PG, FD, and RGIII for the start of the year, I believe that. It will put ALOT of stress on our safety and CB corps as teams are trying to stay with our offense. This may be the year where you no longer watch and wait for the inevitable nail biting ending. HEY I just realized my glass is full of air, give me more of that thar koolaid. Richmond style. LoL |
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Just realized that with AJ Green hurt, this is definitely going to be a must watch Hard Knocks next week! I'm sure we'll hear and find out more when we watch it on HBO.

Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Nfl.com said that Lewis told the reporters that Green will be fine

HBO forced AJ Green to fake the injury. Bold prediction. Hard Knocksgate. |

Yeah, I really liked him, too. I was rooting for us to draft him. His concussions were tragic, though. |

Surprised I haven't read anything on the Harvin injury in this thread. Looks like he is going to IR and all those ignorant Seahawks fans that post on Espn and Profootball Talk are going to have some egg on thier faces.

Cracks me up that people think the saints defense will be good. Rob ryan has been terrible everywhere he's been

Interesting wonder if it is a joke? I have never heard that from anyone regarding Fletcher. |

It sounds somewhat serious. http://fansided.com/2013/07/27/jeremy-maclin-carted-off-philadelphia-eagles-practice-with-kneeleg-injury/ |
Yeah most assume it's a knee. Sucks for philly he is by far their best WR
|
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Once less WR for Philly to make them a possible explosive offense.

I saw Pitta as out for the first game "at least".
Maclin done for the year per NFL Network. |

It's confirmed, Pitta is out of season. Huge blow to Ravens.

No boldin, No pitta. I don't see flacco carrying that offense.
|
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Don't doubt flacco. He's starting to become a clutch QB. Pitta is good, but Ed Dickson is also good. The ravens will be fine. Hell, the just drafted the TE/h-back/FB from Harvard who has some potential.
|
The ravens are going to miss both Boldin and Pitta.
@billbarnwell: To @smartfootball's point, 27 of Joe Flacco's 56 third-down conversions last year -- nearly half -- were to Anquan Boldin or Dennis Pitta. |
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Count me as a Flacco doubter. Decent but he needs to take a leap this year.
|
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Not sure what else Flacco needs to do at this point. He's pretty damn proven to me.
|
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Lol. I live north of Bmore and up until the day before he won the Super Bowl, 1/2 the population wasn't a believer in him. They just love to hate him. I think the ravens improved their defense but it could the bengals year in that division.
The eagles still have 6'7" WR freak of nature Ifeanyi Momah in camp. |

Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
Flacco is a good QB, but I wouldnt be worried bout him if I was a Raven fan. That team lost a ton of very solid players this offseason. I think the defense is gonna struggle immensely. leach, bolden and now pitta on offense? this team doesnt win 10

Well, I guess Sanchez was a proven QB eh? Will you be saying the same thing once Flacco starts missing the playoffs? |

He plays his best ball in the playoffs and that's a bad thing? His regular season stats are more than solid enough to me, especially with a back like Rice in the backfield. |

What are we going to be saying when his regular season stats aren't good enough to carry the team into the playoffs? I suspect that'll be happening this year. Granted, I realize he's a much better QB than Sanchez in the regular season, just will people be saying the same once they stop missing the playoffs? |
