Why don't we go with short quick passes on 3rd and short when expecting an all out blitz?
Bob's gotta make that call

Chris Thompson has turned into Brandon Banks.

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

when was the last time we had a punt return for a TD?

redskins5044 09-15-2013 01:28 PM

That was close to a fumble

He's gotta quit fielding punts inside the 10

Do we know if RG has that freedom?

Ruhskins 09-15-2013 01:28 PM

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

Someone needs to tell Thompson to just go down when has been stopped. He really just needs to secure the ball and stop trying to make something out of nothing.

The Goat 09-15-2013 01:29 PM

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

Idk why Paul isn't returns kicks and punts? He's not gonna play on offense anytime soon.

Is it me or does Morris seem slower off the line? Not bad, just slower.

He should have some type of way to get the team out of an obviously doomed play other than a timeout

smart play by the ragin hatian

DynamiteRave 09-15-2013 01:31 PM

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

Our offense is just as inept as ever. And they still want RG3 to be a pocket passer. It's starting to get painful to watch this offense.

**** me. Sav you are killing us

redskins5044 09-15-2013 01:32 PM

This offense is horrible, we have regressed to where we will struggle to score 20 points.

Ruhskins 09-15-2013 01:32 PM

Boy, this is going to be a long game.

Horrible special teams bad offense with a qb who looks 60 percent healthy

It's a wet field.

On a positive note we look better than we did last week. Than again a turd looks better than we did last week. :)

The Goat 09-15-2013 01:34 PM

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

Whoever is calling these 3rd down plays needs to be relieved from their duty. How do you continue to play into the defensive gameplay?? I haven't seen a roll out bootleg or a screen yet. Nobody is gonna take the read option serious if we're not even letting RG roll out. So frustrating, it's like back to the pre RG offense.

redskins5044 09-15-2013 01:34 PM

They aren't using any bootlegs or roll outs, our Oline isn't built for a drop back passer.

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

You guys are brutal about RGIII. His WR slipped and people act like it's due to him being not 100%.

It'll probably be similar to last week. Defense will come out strong, and then eventually get worn down.

Offense won't start functioning til later in the game.

Why is a LB covering Randall Cobb? Why?

skinsfaninok 09-15-2013 01:36 PM

Our d is slow

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

This lack of offense is killing us.

redskins5044 09-15-2013 01:37 PM

Everyone blame the Defense, but that TD is on the offense for not flipping field position at least and a shitty punt.

Bucket 09-15-2013 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

Have to make stops there to win games like this.. We gave up a TD

Chico23231 09-15-2013 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins-Packers Gameday thread

I'm putting both these losses on the offense

Special teams and absolutely no offense

Maybe we just need to throw screens.
