I don't think he's a scrub, but I had him in FF last year and he really didn't do much. And this year he was practically nonexistant. Maybe calling him a shit wideout is harsh but I don't think Brady is going to miss him like he misses Welker.

I'd be extremely curious to see Brady on another team to see if his greatness comes from him or from the system that Belichick put together. Although, given the failure of Belichick to put a good team around Brady, I'd lean towards that it is all Brady. But still, I'm very curious to see him play for another team.

An investigation by the Minneapolis Star Tribune details some of the unseemly stories of Peterson’s past, including allegations of money raised by his charity foundation never making it to the suggested recipients.

The story spends a great deal of time on the fact Peterson fathered at least six children with six different women. While unfortunate, it’s also not criminal. There was also the salacious bit about one of his relatives paying for hotel rooms for a sex party which involved Peterson and a group of women was paid for with a foundation credit card.

But they also detailed the way his All Day Foundation has filed some contradictory financial reports.

Their 2011 financial report showed $247,064 in total revenue, with just three organizations listed as receiving money. A fourth outlay, entitled simply “clothing for needy families,” said “unknown” for the number of recipients.

Their 2009 report said its largest gift of $70,000 went to Straight From the Heart Ministries in Laurel, Md. But Donna Farley, president of the organization, said it never received any money from Peterson’s foundation. “There have been no outside [contributions] other than people in my own circle,” Farley said. “Adrian Peterson — definitely not.”

The 2009 tax filing also listed a donation to a food bank in Dallas, but that group said it hadn’t received any money from Peterson.

So while the charges of abusing his 4-year-old son might have been the thing that got the league to effectively suspend one of its brightest stars, it might only be the tip of the iceberg.

Man, when you see what the likes of Manning, Rivers, Rodgers, Brees, and Brady did this weekend, it is hard not to be incredibly envious of the teams that have franchise QBs. Year in and year out, these guys produce, and their teams are always competitive as a result. While a good D is essential to winning a SB (because there are enough teams with firepower to get to the post-season), a franchise QB really is essential for sustained success.

I really hope RGIII comes back and shows he can be the QB of the present and future. Or we will continue to flounder until we find one.

I could see if the game is in Africa or broadcasted there. I didn't see it as some insensitive joke that mocked or made these deaths trivial. He could have used any "disease/virus" on the poster, and any of them listed would have caused deaths at sometime in history.

yet another example of media bias against the skins ... they punish us after a hard fought moral victory? so what if we didnt cover the spread, we were at home and the seahawks were flagged 11 vs 3 and made a bunch of mental mistakes ... we are talking seahawks vs redskins here. how much better do they think we could have done? we almost covered the damn spread for fucks sake.

Sherman won't have to cover Dez. He will stay on his side, he never follows the number one WR around the field. Sherman is just a loud mouth punk who can't take it when he loses, and runs his mouth when he wins.

And I'm pretty sure he didn't use garçon to deflect from the DJax td. He instead took the opportunity to throw his D coordinator under the bus. Said they called a bad coverage for that play.

His running his mouth is what gets him the attention, because at the end of the day he's definitely not the top DB in the league. Prob would even make the top 10 if he was on any other team. Dude would get torched if he was here with Clark and Merriweather over top. Just shut the f up and play, can't stand him.

Sherman would be average without that amazing pass rush that Seattle has, which has to be THE most underrated group of players in the NFL period.
