Thinking about the game, Duke Ihenacho also had a really good game. Solid tackler, sent on a few blitz, efficient. Got beaten on coverage on a few plays, but good game. Definitely an improvement from Bruton Jr !

Positives: we slipped out of Baltimore with a win in a typically ugly Ravens game. HOw often do they win 17-16, 12-9, etc. Kind of lull you with their crappy offense and good D.

Best game all year from front 7.

The passing game gets people open with ease.

Return game! wtf!!!

Negatives:

crap playcalling at the end of the first half left points on the field AGAIN! Three more points would have really helped here. Gotta fix that. Jay needs to get his shit straight. Consolation: Harbaugh and co were worse yesterday.

Still having trouble with the run on both sides.

KCs bone-headed int. If they don't bumble that away, we're calling for KCs head here.

Third and fucking short! Come on, people. It's absolutely killing me to watch that. I'd rather be in third and long at this point!

Final thoughts: hell, we're 3-2 after 5. About where I'd put us, though I wouldn't have thought we'd win in NY. Still pissed we blew the dallas game. We had them early in the year and now they're getting better. WTF about 2 teams in our division start rookies and have ONE int so far between em? Jeeze. Anyway, please kill the iggles.

Good post, I agree on PG he got his clock cleaned and came back and caught a tough ass pass late. He's truly a beast.

One thing about Gruden and staff, they seem to be a good in-season staff.

I remember last year, at the start of the year, it was penalties, 2nd half adjustments and winning on the road. As the year progressed, all three of those issues went away, and this year we are 2-0 on the road, and the D in particular seems to make good adjustments.

It also seems like during the season they are better able to identify weaknesses and get help off of PS or players like Pierre Thomas last year and possibly Whitner this year. I think as the season goes on, we will see a maturation across the board leading into a very strong run at the end of the season.

Yop! Definitely an improvement on penalties.
Defensively, adjustments on the play calling, finally bringing pressure, with success. It was also evident that they underlined the importance of good tackling during the week, it was day and night on that point!

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago how whack ESPN is these days. Not only the power rankings. They had the games ranked too, and it was just dumb. The Pitt Jets game was ranked higher than the Skins Ravens. How did that work out? Im so over ESPN. I hardly watch it anymore. There commercials are their best stuff...
Edit: just checked out the rankings to see how bad. That is just plain stupid. Like someone should be fired. Not just the Skins, but how the hell are the Cards, Panthers, Giants, Ravens, etc. ranked where they are ranked?

Life pro tip: Follow my lead and don't give a single shit about ESPN's ranking of the day's games and life will be a lot easier. I want the W baby, that's it, that's all, nothing more nothing less. ESPN can ride that rankings dick all they want, it don't make me no nevermind.

That ranking was 1000% pure garbage. How does losing teams end up in the top 10 or 15? How does team who lose move up in the rankings and teams who win move down?

Can someone answer this question for me

What would have happened if the Ravens had completed that last pass on 4th down with 20 seconds left, but their player is injured on the play. They had no timeouts left. Would there have been time a run-off?

I stopped watching ESPN a long time ago. I find most of the shows to be unwatchable.

I will listen to Mike and Mike in the mornings, Dari and Mel on Saturday morning, and I will watch the Monday night game.

Just read the french rules, which are based on the NCAA rules, it would be a 10 second run off (unless the ball carrier went out of bounds of course).
