Re: Around the NFL … week 4
I watched the game last night for several drives. One thing I saw which really piss me off, Waller taunting penalty. The guy caught a ball for a big first down and spiked the ball afterwards. He never engaged another player or pointed at anyone…he did it on the sideline out of the field of play.
It was ridiculous and 15 yards as well which killed the drive. Just fucking insane and unnecessary. This refs are doing a shitty job so far this year |

Or can you imagine being the married Head football coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and doing that might be a better question? I mean Im a nobody and I could probably get away with that shit without it going viral but I choose not to. I don’t know how much there is to this “open marriage “ they have. But even if that is the case know your situation man. Just totally not a good look either way. Either sneaky, stupid, or both….. |

wow[/quote] This dude is much better than his brother. Nick is good, but Joey Bosa is great. He was dominating last night and if you watched our game…he flipping killed Cosmi. Cosmi since has been mostly lights out But calling DC soft, it’s true. And he wears mascara but not as much as Tranny Dimes. |

Supposedly Urban skipped the team plane to hang behind and relax for a bit. Is that the image you want to put up for your 0-4 team coming off a "devastating" loss? Mans is trying to become the next NFL Saban it seems. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
He isn't happy there, u can see it on the Sidelines.. He took that job because of the $$ and he was going to have TLAW.. He thought it was like college football lolol

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
The Urban Meyer situation in Jacksonville has reached a crisis point, especially in the locker room. One player told me, 'He has zero credibility in that stadium. He had very little to begin with.'
Mike Silver WOW |

He is totally miserable. The NFL ain't for everyone and it certainly isn't for Meyer. His comments about "playing Alabama every week" pretty much says it all. Also he didn't even fly home w/ the team last week after the game. I can see a player maybe doing this but not the head coach. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Jacksonville deserves what they are getting with him. It was never going to work out with him.

Yep, stupid ass hire. Plenty of legit NFL coaches that deserved that opportunity. |

Just the sort of hire Snyder would have made

Guessing Khan wants to see what'll happen - if the Jags continue losing maybe Meyer will decide to bail and Khan won't have to pay off his contract to dump him. Supposedly the big issue with the squad is him skipping the team plane - never seen a HC do that before. It's one thing if it's the offseason and you're caught getting some strange - but to skip the flight to hang back and have some drinks/get some strange? In a league where coaches are always dissecting the film the day after the game it's a terrible look. If players think you aren't committed you are gonna lose the locker room real quick. |

@AdamSchefter
In-season surprise: Cowboys released LB Jaylon Smith, per source. And given this: @spotrac Wow. Jaylon Smith had 5 years, $50.75M left on his contract. His release leaves behind $16.6M of dead cap to the #Cowboys 2021: $9.8M ($7.2M cash) 2022: $6.8M ***************** You have to wonder what has he done to get released by the Cowpukes. |

It's statements like these that make me worry about you OK. JS is as bad in space as Bostic was, probably worse actually - if that is possible. He is slow to react, and unable to recover. Not to mention he is an ex-Cowboy. |

We wouldn't be getting Jaylon Smith, pass rusher extraordinaire, we'd be getting Jaylon Smith - cut mid season because he looks embarrassingly terrible next to a quality linebacker. |

More Hudson and The Rookie with Bostic out. I’d pass on JS. Less freestyle players

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
I wouldn't have minded if they had kicked the tires on Avery Williamson, but looks like he just signed with the Broncos practice squad.

Start Davis, Hudson, and Holcomb at LB and see how it works. Bump Holcomb off on nickel and replace him with another DB. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Yep, that is what they should do on Sunday, but it wouldn't hurt to bring in a Veteran like Williamson if Bostic is going to be out for the season.
My guess is it will be mostly Davis & Holcomb, with Hudson coming in on occasion. Who knows, maybe it's the recipe for success. |

Per Schefty, Pats are releasing Stephon Gilmore.
