So much for Mahomes “down year” other than AR he’s been the best QB in the league over the last 2 months. They are clearly the best team in the AFC right now
Classic regression to the mean. I remember first few weeks of season and people were saying Darnold only needed a change of scenery |

Yep same for Dallas “amazing” offense |
Re: Week 16
Hats off to Jets nothing makes your team look functional like dysfunction

Re: Week 16
Can't believe Chargers lost to the Texans. Chargers love to choke.

Re: Week 16
Miami has just turned it around like nothing we’ve ever seen before. They started 1-7! Their Defense and Tua have been the difference but it’s also coaching. And they are not some loaded offense either, their number 1 WR is a rookie.

Re: Week 16
– 49ers take No. 6, Washington wins No. 7 tiebreaker
If 49ers WIN at least one of two… (vs. HOU, at LAR) Eagles LOSE out (at WSH, vs. DAL) Saints LOSE two of three (vs. MIA, vs. CAR, at ATL) Vikings LOSE one of two (at GB, vs. CHI) Falcons LOSE one of two (at BUF, vs. NO) Honestly this is possible. If we beat Philly we will have a fighters chance week 18. Saints are going to lose tonight so we need them to drop to Carolina or ATl Eagles won’t beat Dallas week 18 if Dallas is still in the race to get the 1st or 2nd seed Vikings will lose to GB Atlanta ain’t beating Buffalo in Buffalo. Its not likely but it’s possible |
Re: Week 16
Thanks for that breakdown … after reading it is possible !

Re: Week 16
There are a few more scenarios too. Basically if we win out we will have a shot.

Re: Week 16
LOL, it's also possible that I'm going to win the Powerball this week...
Sorry, but my optimism has run dry. They've given up 110 points and 1,339 yards in the last three games, compared to scoring 51 points and gaining 718 yards - almost doubled up in both categories. Not just any three games either - Division games, Conference games, and games that started with them controlling their own destiny. They have officially shit the bed and it runneth all over the room. COVID and injuries have hit them hard, and they are getting some guys back, but don't hold your breath. Honestly Gilbert looked better against Philly than both Heinicke and Allen did in the Dallas games. There's your first clue that this isn't going to happen. No way they beat Philly, and it's a toss up against NY. Both will be away games... |

They don't control their own destiny anymore but crazier things have happened. |

Go back to your hole Troll. Your team will be one and done in the post season as usual, but if it makes you feel good to frolick in a field of bluebonnets after your team manhandled a severely depleted team with no QB1, enjoy. I am sure it will be short-lived. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They played against a team with no name... Last 3 weeks we've barely been able to field a scrubs line-up. But we've also been out coached. O got away from the run game too early in all 3 games, and JDR doesn't seem to have an answer for anything. Even ST's have looked awful, and up to now I'd say they've been something of a strength. Yes the roster is a big part of that, but there is also a big part for coaching to play. The current starting line-ups are going to make anyone look better. The coaches don't seem to have a clue how to patch the holes. |
Re: Week 16
Of course
|
Re: Week 16
The team has been decimated the last few weeks with injuries and covid and people are asking why the coaches can't cook up a wining formula with shit ingredients.

Not necessarily winning, but at least competitive. The Cowboys pass offense carved us up, and it was our run defence we were worried about. The OL aren't scrubs but they played 2 games vs the Cowboys and 1 vs the Eagles like they hadn't even practiced together. I'd argue the blocked punt was avoidable (as said elsewhere Smallwood got owned, and he's no rookie). Yes the roster has been shaken up, but they looked like they hadn't been coached, especially the D. And Heinike looked all at sea, whereas a month before he was as on fire as he's likely to get; that first INT was all down to his bad timing/inaccuracy, as Scary was open. The scrap between Payne and Allen wasn't the only sign of dysfunction. I remember the scrubs we put out during the strike, and while they lacked talent as a unit, they played with passion. I haven't see anything like that passion last 3 weeks. |
