ACL injury for Zach Wilson
Can our pre-season already be over? |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
@Schultz_Report
A source close to Zach Wilson tells me: “They think he’s okay, but he’s having an MRI just to be sure.” The second-year #Jets’ QB injured his knee during last night’s preseason game against the #Eagles. |

How can OBJ make the top 100 but no Terry?!?! Gtfoh
Reading the Cowboys vs Broncos scrimmage notes…Cowboys Oline was struggle city.
Good to hear. Honestly feel it's the biggest reason Zeke and the rushing game has slowed down the last few years. Tampa at Dallas in an interesting opener, especially with the current Brady news.

Marshawn Lynch DUI arrest video released: Ex-NFL star told police he stole the car, vehicle was missing a tire Sorry, I found some of this to be hilarious…his mugshot, damn! Not only was it missing the front wheel and rim on the driver's side of the car, but the front tire on the passenger side had also almost fallen off. Lynch "stated that he was not drinking and he does not do drugs," according to the report. The former NFL running back also noted that "he stole the vehicle," according to the police report. This car ain’t mine, I stole it? Interesting strategy there |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Good news, Bostic signed with Saints. Bad news, we now have one option less for the LB position.
|
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Jo Schobert signed with Denver. I don't think they are planning to sign anyone else

Not sure that's enough, but I'm willing to put up with it... until it's egregiously hurting us. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |

Not sure there are too many LB FAs left out there - not anyone that’s a clear upgrade as far as I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I hate to be a pessimist but "egregiously hurting" is only one injury away.

It is. Well it might not if Nate Gerry can play and this D can consistently stop the run in 5-2. But those are 2 substantial ifs. We'll see. I said I'll stop bitching about the LB squad. At this point we can't legitimately expect them to do another move, so for now I'll hope they're right. |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Yeah I agree with you guys. The coaches seem to be content with the current LB corp, so be it.

If the ends can do their job against the run, think they will be fine. Quite interested to see what impact the new dline coach makes. Think it could be significant.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Even it’s the first preseason game, Cowboys got a lotta problems. This division is a toss up.

Still like Philly to win the division with their additions. They loaded up on defense along with getting AJ Brown. If Hurts protects the ball, they will be tough to beat.

Jaylen Waddle at 63?? LOL Come on |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
I do think the Eagles are the best team in the division. They had a great off-season. If Hurts doesn't play well they can go to Minshew who actually might be the better QB. I didn't realize just how good Minshew's numbers are. Just something to keep an eye on in Philly.

I agree with all this, as much as I hate to say it. I think they're likely to be the best in our division. Dak's OL is terrible and won't create many holes for their RBs or keep him upright long enough. They may struggle, particularly against teams like ours and Philly that have done a much better job of shoring up the trenches. |
Jaylen Waddle at 63?? LOL Come on
I don't think he should be that high, but he is lightning in a bottle. Caught over 1,000 yds as a rookie and his potential is absolutely through the roof. Him and Tyreek will be nearly impossible to defend man on man. Massive season upcoming for Tua.

Agreed. Watched the 1st half of their game. Hurts looked really good. They have a solid Oline. Love Jordan Mailata's story, he learned the game in a few years and became a solid LT. Very solid Defense all around too. |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
I fuckin hate the eagles so much I hate that they look potentially pretty good... I can't even stomach it given where I reside it is the worst possible outcome every year lmao

Very tough to tackle in the open field. He is a decent thrower not great. But he probably won't have to be really. Just needs to protect the ball which I can guarantee Sirianni is preaching right now. |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Fuck Hurts and the Eagles.
But, I do hope it is the Commanders and the Eagles in the end, and Dallas is put away by week 10. Isn't there another team in the Division? I can't remember. |
For what its worth Barkley is going to be a stud again I believe.
Reports indicate he may have issues pass blocking and running through the tackles consistently. He's great and electric as more of a utility back. Kid clearly has talent and has all the tools. Big year for him also.
|
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Having no QB is going to hurt Barkley, that's a big thing that could hold him back.
|
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Jones is going to be a on a very short leash. I totally expect him to get benched at some point.
Giants Defense is sneaky good but their O is trash.
The O will be better I think we have a nice group of RB's and Toney and Robison will give some teams fits and we will be running more till Jones gets the new system down. Matty I think Jones has a longer leash then some might expect ,....IMO TT doesn't see the field unless Jones is injured. The Giants will be better but with that said at best will be 7-10. |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Why would a new coach have a long leash with a QB he didn't draft?
Tyrod will be in there at some point. Book it. |
