Re: Vikings Week
That’s a career ender for Ertz.
Hate that hit. But that’s what the nfl wants I guess. |
if the FO had some serious BALLS , you trade JD5 over the offseason, you get a bunch for him and he is on someone elses IR list all season
No one would us a 1st for Jayden. Maybe a 2nd. In his short career, he can’t be relied on to stay on field. |
Re: Vikings Week
Jayden was worth 5 1st last year. Relax. The team is bad. Oline was trash the first 5 games. Bad roster moves.
|
Re: Vikings Week
Ben Johnson made the right decision. Damn. After last year I really didn’t think we would be the worst team in the league but,…..

Yeah, our first shutout loss since 2019.

I think fire DQ talk has some legs after today

Re: Vikings Week
We legitimately might be the worst team in the NFL. Today was as bad as bad football can get. Minnesota isn't even good and they pounded the fuck out of us.

At least we have a gm that can fix things. Oh wait a minute….. Dude literally did one thing that makes sense. Drafted JD. Literally every other move, pick, trade has been a disaster. |
Re: Vikings Week
not getting mike v. just still fucking blows my mind!!!!!!!!!!
only thing that blows my mind more is Tenn letting him go i honestly take Tomilson, i know Pitt fans complain but at least they have a PRODUCT to watch every Sunday i don't even want super bowl , i just want a team i can wear their damn gear and not feel like Pennywise |

Re: Vikings Week
Lattimore trade was desperate and a one of the worst trades by the team post 2000s
|
Re: Vikings Week
JD ain't worth Second rounder now .. the biggest part of his game strength is his running and the injuries will end that.. So basically we have nothing! NOTHING!! worst roster ,worse coaching, worse name and logo, worst stadium currently, no real home field advantage.. did i say Nothing?

Them the facts
Free agent signings are worse! Kinlaw Von Miller Jonathan Jones’s Matt gay Nick bellore Noah Brown Dietrich wise Cellini Ferrell The best we got was a situational rusher. |

ok fair so u are saying me or you could had made that pic, so basically AP hasn't done poop actually if maye goes on to win MVP this year , i say AP even with everyone saying JD5 was the pic at 2 could have taken Maye, now that been a move |
Re: Vikings Week
When we lose to the Giants and hopefully the Saints can beat the Panthers at home, we will move up to No. 4 in the draft. Life is so back to normal in WFT land.
|
Re: Vikings Week
Huge mistakes this off-season for sure. Ignoring am edge rusher in any capacity was stupid. I will not be down Mikey, Connerly, Luke or Trey ... maybe even McGee but who knows... newton looks meh... just seeing a lot of scheme and coaching issues as much as or more than execution. Kliff just does not belong at this level. Sure he has moments, but no, moments arent consistent enough. DQ, ya wanna root for the guy and as long as hes the guy we will but... we are outschemed and too slow and teams know it. The adjustment game, per the usual round here, non existent.
Fed up with this season. Big changes need to come and come soon. Peters has a LOT to prove now. |
Re: Vikings Week
Just came back in here to say fuck this team, coaching staff, and this front office
How the fuck do you get shut out in today’s game? These dumb ass fucks. Fuck the players, fuck the coaches, fuck the owners and fuck the front office |
Re: Vikings Week
The biggest problem the fan-base has suffered from this year was from false delusions of grandeur. Many of you all bought into this notion that this was a 12-5 talent team, when in reality we were closer to the 4-13 team the year prior. Yall don't realize how much luck played into our hands last year, and being new helped in that aspect.
This year, we're still lacking a ton of talent, but we're also hit with a shit ton of injuries. One thing we did solve was the issue whether our DC (Whitt) was the right man for the job. He was not ready and it showed. The front office needs to hold onto draft picks and use them wisely. Surround JD with good talent and take some of the pressure off of him. That can be done by putting a good defense on the field. |

Re: Vikings Week
Well what a setback this team has had..
They suck, OLD and our QB1 is always hurt now... NIGHTMARE SEASON |
Re: Vikings Week
31-0 isn’t normal folks. We were 1 game away last year…the team looks like a shell of itself.
Accepting it as no big deal from fans is surprising. I’ll echo skinsfanok, this is a big offseason for this front office and coaching staff, last offseason they failed the fanbase. What the facts are: 1. the defense has been bottom 5 the last two years under DQ Joe Whitt- it looks worse than Ron’s defense. People need to be fired. 2. Adam Peters 1 year vet signing strategy is a loser strategy. Get younger and faster. The guys he got in the draft not JD5 has been below average. 3. JD5 is injury prone due to taking too many unnecessary hits. He cannot continue to play in this system. Put him under center Hey JD left again today with injury after making a terrible throw. |
Re: Vikings Week
Looking on the bright side, Jake Moody didn't miss a kick all game. :)
|
Re: Vikings Week
On JD's int, I honestly blame Kliff for that more than JD. Stupid ass WR screens, they've taken over football. It's lazy play calling, hoping your guy is going to out athlete the defense. They're obsessed w/ this shit in college, and perhaps it's fine there w/ the disparity in talent and the wide hashes. In the NFL you can throw that shit in the trash can.
31-0 isn’t normal folks. We were 1 game away last year…the team looks like a shell of itself.
Take away the luck and add in the injuries, it's not very surprising we are as bad as we are. You just got lulled into a false view of what the team really was.
1. the defense has been bottom 5 the last two years under DQ Joe Whitt- it looks worse than Ron’s defense. People need to be fired.
Whitt was fired essentially. Either Quinn will call from now on or another DC will be brought in.
2. Adam Peters 1 year vet signing strategy is a loser strategy. Get younger and faster. The guys he got in the draft not JD5 has been below average.
You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip man. Restocking a entire team with talent takes time. 1 year vet deals worked fine last year, it didn't this year because we've been decimated with injuries.
3. JD5 is injury prone due to taking too many unnecessary hits. He cannot continue to play in this system. Put him under center
This we agree on. Even before his injuries, I said last year he was running entirely too much and taking hits he should be avoiding. |
Re: Vikings Week
Peters has built one of the least talented rosters in the NFL. His drafts stink too. He needs to get his shit together. We haven't made any progress outside of JD falling into our laps. We look anywhere like this season, the whole FO and coaching staff needs to be fired.

The number of injuries we’ve had isn’t normal, big majority of the issues start there |
Re: Vikings Week
The offense was pretty healthy yesterday. They didn't score a single point.

No question it was bad, but safe to say there’s a lot of rust out there |
Re: Vikings Week
A team should NEVER lose to a 4-8 football team 31-0. That was an absolute embarrassment. The game wasn't even watchable. Not too many games I turn off before the 4th quarter.
|
Re: Vikings Week
I gotta say that Kliff sucks. How do you call three straight passes down there at the 1 yard line? Especially how CRod was running. WTF is wrong w/ that guy? Run the ball there dude and quit calling plays like a little bitch. That's on DQ too because he should have told him to at least get 2 runs there.
Then that wr screen on 4th down. I just can't take him anymore. Speaking of CRod, I love that guy. He is no nonsense. Best pure runner we've had here in a while. Should have given him the ball 25 times instead of 10. Just pure bullshit. |

First time GM, he's going to make mistakes, and he's made plenty of them. |
Re: Vikings Week
The injuries this year have been wild. The adjusted games lost is really bad. Right up there with Cardinals and 49ers. The big difference between the Cards/Commanders and Niners is the established philosophy between Kyle and Lynch (9 years in the making). They have a program built upon back ups being able to fill the role and not adjust the system. That didn't happen over night. Even then the Niners have missed the playoffs 50% of the seasons and the seasons they don't, a max of 6 wins. It's a shitty season no doubt but not time to blow shit up
