Trurer words couldn't have been spoken. The problem is, we're not talking about sex, we're talking about SHOPPING! So if the poll question was Skins v. Sex maybe the outcome would not be so one-sided.

hhhmmmm....new poll question?

here are a few words to live by. "Tis better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission"

i've been married for 10 years and my wife knows not to even ask me to do anything on sundays during football season. if your going to piss off your girlfriend it's better to do it now, so that she knows not to even ask you next time. if you give in to her , she will expect you to give in each time.

watch the game, she'll get over it.

Exactly, 16 days a year for three hours. Is that too much to ask??? If/When I have kids, and they have conflicts, thats twhen things will start to maybe take me away from the screen. But they will all be skins fans and wont want to do anything else.

I was trying to be nice but even my dad is having the same dilemna, although in his case it is a close family friend for almost 30 years, so he is obligated to attend his best friend's wife's Birthday party much to his chagrin. Pouting all the way, he is, though he will get to see much of the first half and listen to the radio through most of the third quarter. :) I feel your pain though and understand your dilemna. I complain about missing anything involving the Redskins!!!!! Best of luck though I know you will do the right thing maybe you can compromise!!!

We should now have a poll asking what we thought mooby's decision was. I vote shopping.

wow, i think some of you haven't read what i posted earlier in the second page of this thread. i said what we were gonna do, and so far it's been pretty good. i picked her up from the spa at about 5 p.m., got back around 15 min ago, but she was extremely tired and she said she didn't want to go shopping, and right now she's taking a nap. i'm gonna cook her supper and that's the end of that. it worked out for both of us.
