Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Fair weather fans. lol. I love that term. As if someone is a better fan then others. Perhaps the better fans can't stand to see their teams getting decimated like they are today. Can they turn this around after the half? Yes, but .... the team is going to have to make some huge adjustments cause what they are doing now is not working. If they "stay the course" the Skins will lose. I don't care at this point what they do.... put Beck in if thats whats going to make the rest of you happy, Roll whoever is at QB out away from the rush, how about using some screens? I think I have been saying all week to beat the Eagles the Skins should throw more screens, and slants. Instead they throw a pass to Cooley in the flat with no blockers. OOOOOOh that worked perfectly.

When did Andy Dalton go in the draft? He looks good, why the F did we not get him?

I'm a Gator, too. I feel your pain. And for the second game in a row, I could make one of your posts my signature. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
And what's up with this body bag game? How many guys have gone down today? Are we playing defensive players on our offensive line yet? Shit's starting to look like Madden.

I think they should bring back the ambulance on Madden. I always loved it how the ambulance would just run over players to get to the injured guy. [YT]_138p6uzhUk[/YT] |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Losing Lichtensteiger is a huge blow for us. No running game for us whatsoever. I remember hearing people say all week that we will win if we run the ball. Haven't done that. Thus we won't win unless we change our game plan. And I'd put Beck in if Grossman goes 3 and out or throws another pick.
I just don't get how teams like the bills, giants, and 49ers can stop this offense and we can't. Our corners aren't bad, hell they're better than some of those teams starting corners. |
Sounds like a 3rd stringer stats.
He should have 2 more INT'S today, and one more of them costing us points. The first INT I blame Kyle for too.. It's 3rd and Long, and you need roughly 4-5 yards for a FG to start the game. Run the ball????? It's like we are watching the Patriots offense trying to play with Rex at QB. This is what it would look like |

dude ive been killing Rex all year, check the game tapes. if this is not the perfect time to throw beck in, i dont know when it is then |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Well, the good thing is we probably can't play much worse...I expect this to be a different half. Get a good drive for a TD, then a stop on D...and it's a game again.

Hey I was his cheerleader all offseason but ...... I think Cinci took him in the 1st or second round. |

He went early second round. 35 or 36 I think. |
Shanahan said of Beck and Grossman "I've been doing this for a long time, and I'm putting my reputation on these guys that they can play."
Your damn right your reputation is on the line, including your job. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
I believe super Rex is now 6TD and 10 turnovers, is that correct? If it is then you need to pull him just to keep the rest of the team in the game.

because shanahan felt that in a short year with the lockout that its a bad time to draft and develope a QB. Also he felt like Rex and Beck are good enough to get us through a season. And we liked Jarvis Jenkins a lot. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Not sure I get the play calling here. We've called only 6 rushes against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. Mind boggling.
0-4 on 3rd down conversions. |
