How in god's earth do you re assign the Team's President?

This would be typical garbage Redskins move and completely unacceptable.

We have clearly seen this shit before with Vinny and his power struggle when he reassumed his GM status and recently with Bruce as he pushed Scot McC out to reassume his status as the most important voice in the franchise.

we should start burning Snyder effigy in and around town. he's a fucking clown if he would think this is anyway acceptable.

If they don't wipe him completely free of the team, you will see fans drop like flies. There is no reason to keep him around

Some media folks have mentioned Marvin Lewis because he has worked here before and is someone who can come in and work under the circumstances.

He had 10 years to do some damage with the Bengals and never could. I feel like that's just bumping your head on 9-7 every other year.

Here is my argument for Marvin Lewis. There's only a few worse organizations in the NFL than the Skins, the Browns and Bengals. Although he never won a playoff game he did have them in the playoffs just about every year he was there. He knows who to coach a great defense. I think he did a good job there under those circumstances, working for the Brown family. They're the cheapest team in the NFL. Yes we could do better but the top guys on the market are not going to come here. This isn't the Redskins brand of 30 years ago.

I’d definitely take Marvin Lewis. The Bengals have gone back to being the Bengals since he left.

Yeah thats sounds more like a logical guess .. Dan needs to keep Bruce around to be the face of the new stadium and financing meetings but knows he has to appease the fans by bringing in a new name to be the "football guy".

Bengals = Redskins imo. 2 of the worst run organizations in sports. Cheap on scouts, cheap on facilities, equipment, trainers etc.

And it's so important that ownership is willing to do what it takes to win. ... If you just kinda sit there and hope that things fall your way, you've got to get really, really lucky to win a championship. But if you're desperate and you're willing to do what it takes and you'll spend to go get this player. ... You've got to be consistently trying to build a championship team. If you're just kinda sitting there and hoping somebody falls in your lap, it's hard to do it that way. You've got to have the ball bounce your way a number of times in the playoffs. And you've got to get lucky here and get lucky there. You look at New England and there's not a lot of luck.

And lot of that is built specifically. You look at what Pittsburgh's done the last 20 years, there's not a lot of luck involved in that ... you look at what Seattle's done, there's not a lot of luck. ... That's not hoping that somebody falls to you in the draft. That's being manipulative of the draft and moving players and churning up rosters and building the right chemistry in the locker room and there's so much that goes into it, it's just not a lucky thing. In order to be successful in the NFL, the organization is of the utmost importance.
