Then he takes their responses to Harlem where of course everyone he interviewed have ID's, know how to vote, know where the DMV is. The problem with that is as the filmmaker he has the freedom to pick and choose who he wants to interview. It doesn't necessarily represent everybody who lives in Harlem.

I'm just gonna be straight up about it. I have no idea about the problems afflicting minority communities because my privileged middle-class white ass has never had to live that experience. I don't know what the numbers are in relation to voters/non-voters. I don't feel like putting in the work to know either.

I don’t know the story but if any local government lied to get federal money than that’s wrong under any rule. I really don’t think race had anything to do with it..it’s a liberal county, votes blue. I think it’s more a population density or just a nimby issue.

But I really do think think the federal government doesn’t have any business forcing re zoning laws to build high rise or lots of apartments…It’s more of an eye sore, traffic and population density issues.

- this is a lie. Obama didnt with hold funds. Instead the govt found out that Westchester had been lying on their grant applications for years collecting over 50 million through the block development program. The govt stopped granting their applications in 2010.

trucker lie #2:

"To its credit, Westchester fought back, because it could afford good lawyers, and eventually won in court."

- this is a lie. They lost very quickly and Westchester promised to cure the fair housing requirement to receive the block development grant money but took them 9 years to actually do it and multiple times Westchester lied from 2010 to 2019 and HUD would check and find out they were lying.

I never heard of this HUD Community Block Development Grant before Tucker Carlson and i think its a good program (help low to moderate communities develop) but I was amazed at how much Tucker Carlson just out right lied and made stuff up.

This program requires 70% of the grant money to be used towards developing low to moderate income housing .. so if your exclusively single family only zoning, you cant use 70% of the grant money to help low to moderate income bc you have no low to moderate income.

Obama wasnt forcing communities to build high rises etc. Westchester was taking money they should have never received by intentionally committing fraud on their grant application forms.

People who watched Carlsons show think Obama is forcing white communities to have "drug addicted vagrants living on their streets" .... when this is not true, not even close to true

Westchester wasnt forced to do anything. This was a grant for the specific purpose of helping communities maintain and develop low to moderate income housing. If you dont have low to moderate housing .... great but dont apply for grant money and lie on the forms saying you do.

Want to remain as a high income single family community? Great good for you ... but dont apply for low to moderate grant programs and play victim when you get caught.
