Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread
This is a quote I just heard from the World Cup coverage: "Right now he's got to be thinking, 'how many good quality balls do I need to get into this box?'". Wow.
Mheisig, you need to save craps like that for "upper-decker" situations.
i warned my dad about those. I told TMC about the horrible mess that one of his workers left in someone's brand new house. I figured they might start getting sneaky if he's not careful. |
Mheisig, you need to save craps like that for "upper-decker" situations.
now that is a good one.
this may be a topic for another thread but if anybody has a "upperdecker" story i would like to hear it. |

You mean an infamous "top shelf?" It occured to me, but I was all alone and I would've needed the help of a friend and possibly a hand winch and some rope. Unfortunately none of my friends like me that much either. |
Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread
AMD, that's at least two World Cup related posts!
Man Law: You are to refer to World Cup only once a day and it must be with clearly intended derision. |

Really the quote was all I was concerned about. If I had heard it on the news or the coverage for a different sport or whatever I would have commented. |
Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread
And here's another funny quote from ESPN. This one was said by Tony Realli just now on around the horn, "let's dig into this buffet of manliness." Geew.

Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread
It's time to leave work, but in light of the recent Michael Strahan-Dr. Ian homoeroticism, I hate to make things awkward. But I will anyway. Farewell my dear friends, farewell.

Re: Warpath's Official Man Law Thread
MAN LAW- When annoucing your wedding to your friends/asking them to be a groomsman, the friends have to approve of the girl first.
My friend, who I haven't talked to in a few weeks, called me up yesterday and asked me to be a groomsman in his wedding, which will be this October. Normally I would have no problem with this seeing as I've been in two already this year and I will be another next year, but at least I knew the bride-to-be and could give my seal of approval. However, last night on the phone my buddy wouldn't even tell me this girl's name or how long he's known her (which most likely means that he knocked her up). If I don't approve of her before hand, how can I stamp this union as acceptable? The only positive is that this friend of mine will be very careful to make sure he's not going to make us miss a home game for the wedding. |
