Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
If the Packers and Seahawks were both smart, they'd just swap QBs. Neither of them wants to be there, and both would be happy in and win in their new homes. It's the best way for both teams to salvage the maximum return and not become complete losers instantly when their QB walks.
Maybe it would take a throw-in pick by GB to balance out the age differential but then again, he's the reigning MVP. Bonus points, Wilson played for Wisconsin. |
32 or 34 years old, hasn't played professionally in 8 years, starting a new position with talent 10 years younger than him, only got the training camp invite bc he's bff's with the HC. Him not making the roster is my triple stamped no-take backs lock of the week.
He'll make the roster and Urben Meyer will make sure he scores TDs for the profits and his ego. |

If Urban Meyer is running his football team for the profits and ego, and not because he wants to do the Pete Carroll thing and prove he can win at any level, he's fucked from the start. Guess time will tell. |

I'm not expecting them to win much this year. |

And there's no way in hell he wants to go live in Green Bay. |

The Packers aren't very confident in Jordan Love. And for Wilson, it beats going to a losing, QB-needy team like Houston, Detroit or Carolina. |
Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
No that's not Tony Romo with a tan playing defense, that's Jaylon Smith!
[img]https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/private/t_editorial_landscape_8_desktop_mobile_2x/f_auto/cowboys/dtmeitcddjbok9f56dmz.jpg[/img] So now, newly-signed kickers and punters are being spotted with numbers in the 30s and 40s because numbers 1-19 are being taken over by WRs, RBs, and defensive players. Going to be a mess...and a strange sights this season. |

Heard this on Outkick the Coverage yesterday...hilarious. Sharpe's going to be in some hot water but I think it's hilarious. The Falcons just lost a lot of trade leverage too since everyone heard it straight from Julio he's not going to play for them. |

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
This is big:
@TomPelissero The NFL and NFLPA have agreed to a $208.2 million salary cap ceiling for 2022, per source. There is no cap floor as of now. The sides agreed last August to spread the COVID-related revenue shortfall from 2020 over several years, and the cap dropped to $182.5M this year. |
