I am digging red dead redemption 2. I’m trying to learn the nuances to riding a horse, getting head shots on bucks for perfect pelts and stuff. So much to the game.

If you can lasso the deer and kill them with your knife you get a perfect pelt every time

Thanks for the tip, thats the stuff I need to learn. I did the lasso and on the first one i got a perfect pelt but then i did a few more after that and they were good pelts. First time i walked up to the deer, I was sure I was going to get antler stabbed.

Any tips for getting perfect pelts for racoons and rabbits etc? I use a varmint rifle and it takes like 4 shots.

Im already half way through chapter 3 so im trying to slow down on the main missions and learn how to craft, fish and do stranger side quests.

I was never into the hunting much other than to get the legendary animals. But I know if there's not 3 stars next to the name when you study it, it can't give a perfect pelt no matter how you kill it.

You can study animals from afar? Alright .. I need to dig deeper into the online guides instead of just the walk throughs.

Hooked up my old xbox 360 recently and started playing NCAA 14 again. The depth of the dynasty mode blows away anything Madden has offered up in franchise mode in years.

I haven't bought Madden in like 5 years because it seemed like franchise mode never got updated, and that's all I played.

I loved Franchise mode back in the day, played about 20 seasons with the Skins on Madden '05. I hope it comes back.

My son and I were excited to get Madden 21 for all of the teams with new uniforms, Brady's move, Chase Young, a better Redskins team...but what the heck are they going to do with us? We're currently nameless and have no idea what our uniform will look like? :D

I hope it's released with us as the Redskins for one final time.

I just completed RDR2 .. or at least the part where Arthur dies and you become Jon. Awesome amazing ending, I want to go back and play RDR now bc I have true hate for Micah and Dutch.

is it worth doing the Jon missions or is it a bunch of cow herding type stuff?

Oh it's worth playing as Marston, but it's a bit of a slog at first. Stick with it and there's a payoff.

Ok who is breaking down to get a PS5 or new Xbox?

I generally wait a year because new consoles are like their prototypes and really the majority of folks are still on the old systems. Plus limited library on new consoles in first year.

Oh and fuck them for on the cheaper models getting rid of disk reader; the end of trading and or buying used games. Though the death of Gamespot would make me smile.

Definitely gonna sit and wait on the PS5 until some game comes out that I really want. No sense buying one on day one and putting up with all the kinks.

Until the games move exclusively to next gen I don't see a huge rush to upgrade.

Anyone else playing Ghost of Tsushima? Just a great game and one of the best looking games I've ever seen on a console.

this game blows me away.

Speaking of remasters jesus fuck I wish T2/R* would stop porting GTA to new consoles. It's legit fucking embarrassing they did it for PS4 and now they're doing it again for PS5.

I bought the new Mafia: Definitive Edition but haven't started it yet.

Lemme rephrase. I didn't have a problem with bringing it to PS4 given the timing. But it's been 7 years. More than enough time to have GTA 6 on the market by now. The fact that it hasn't even been announced yet, and it's going to take another year for the GTA V on PS5 remake to happen means we're probably looking at a decade in between new GTA's. For the best selling game in history that is legit fucking embarrassing.

Yeah I agree a five year development period should be enough for GTA but I also appreciate that Rockstar takes their time and blows us away with each new game. That said a new GTA is definitely long overdue.

Agreed but to be honest, even when a new GTA comes out I'm not sure if it will be up to par because Dan Houser and Leslie Benzies left R*. They've been 2/3 of the driving force behind GTA since it went 3D. I can't help but think them leaving also means there's issues behind the scenes at R*.

Yeah the PS5 is pretty sweet. Load times are drastically faster. Spider Man Miles Morales looks amazing. The new controller is great too, the haptic feedback is pretty crazy. Hard to describe you just have to feel it for yourself.

Consoles, concert tickets, this price gouging with bots snapping up any availability and reselling at a huge markup has to stop. I'm not even going to consider a PS5 until there's a game I want and availability isn't an issue anymore.

Why get the any new console right out of the gates? I like to see what the majority of the folks get and read long term reviews. Plus there is a not a single new release game on either system you can't play on the older generation.

The only thing I see ground breaking that i am curious to try is the PS5 controller.

IMO Sony and Microsoft just do this limited stock BS just to build demand and everyone runs around like rats trying to find cheese. Also, how much longer until consoles are obsolete?

Not trying to poop on those who did get it; honestly if i saw it at Target on a random trip i probably buy it. I am just not go crazy trying to find one or pay scalped prices.

I check offer up app usually once a day...I see folks selling ps5 and new xboxes for 1000-1200 for the last several weeks.

And we’ve also had a couple robberies do to it...

It sounds like they need less online sales and more in person...
