Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Isn't today the deadline for RFAs to sign the tender offer? If not today, isn't this coming up soon?
No, they have 10 weeks from the start of FA to do that. I think that the deadline here is for teams to send an offer sheet. |

Right, this is the last day they can sign an offer sheet from another team. Up until today they could have in a sense dictated where they would play next year. Now the Redskins hold the power |
I actually just read something saying that he hasn't been in the league for two years. Apparently he ballooned to 270 lbs before he washed out. I liked watching him at USC.
Mike Williams.....bad name to have, at least initially when it comes to your pro football career. Hopefully our Mike Williams will be the comeback player of the year this year. |

Hey SS, so Rocky and Carlos didn't sign their tender...any word on why that's happening? Is the team still trying to move them? |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Rocky? Not as much as I initially had suspected. Rogers? Yeah, definitely. And it looked like a deal might have been close when they signed Buchanon.

So if these guys haven't signed their tenders, is it safe to assume that they won't be at this weekend's mini camp? |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
No. I think they'll still be there
|
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
So if they get injured this weekend and they havent signed their tenders, what happens? does the team owe them anything?

I believe they aren't actually allowed to participate in any physical drills per league rules. But they can be there for film sessions, meetings, general show of support for their teammates |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
interesting. well one would think rogers and mcintosh would want to sign their tenders so they could participate and, you know, show the coaching staff what they can do. i wonder if this means that both really really want to get traded?

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Just confirmed that Rocky is not attending

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
Time to send Rogers and McIntosh to the Saints for Bushrod and a draft pick.

or Rocky and LaRon. I would like to keep Rogers, but if a trade can be worked with any combination of 2 of those 3 that would work for me. |
