Thats the only thing I can come up with.

They planned on getting a few yards or a first with that play, and if you come up 1-2 yards short you go for it on 4th down?

No clue though

I haven't had a issue with any of the play calls so far except that dumbass option play with Niles Paul on 3rd down. You don't even need to be a OC to see that was dumb as hell...lol
