Judge upholds Connecticut gun control law passed after Newtown shootings
Judge upholds Connecticut gun control law passed after Newtown shootings | Reuters (Reuters) - A federal judge on Thursday upheld Connecticut's tough gun control law that was passed in the wake of the deadly 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The stringent law is constitutional, said the ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Alfred Covello, denying a legal challenge by a group of gun owners. The state's gun control measures, among the strictest in the nation, were signed into law four months after a gunman in December 2012 killed 26 children and staff in Newtown, Connecticut. |
Re: Pro-gun article
I am wondering if a certain person will go away if we ignore them? I am starting to think a small group of individuals in here post things for the soul purpose of trying to annoy the masses. I really think the internet allows people who are shunned and outcast in the real world to feel like their existence means something when it does not.
Scored a raincheck on a tough-to-find caliber from Gander Mountain.
They had a weekend sale and since the truck never came, they handed out rainchecks and I got one! Seriously considering buying a 40 S&W or 45ACP firearm since those calibers are ALWAYS in stock on the ammo shelves. When I do find mine, there are never hollow points either, just range grade.
I went in a Gander Mountain for the first time a week ago as I moved from the West Coast where there are none. I was all excited to see what looked like more ammo that I would normally see in an outdoorsman type store. Of course they had everything but .22's .357's .38's or the 30-30's I was looking for. |

Clark County Nevada other than Las Vegas is a wide open desert, odd they have a no shooting policy. Odd the sign is shot up, no one disobeys gun laws. Probably people who traveled north from Mexico and can't read English. |

And freedom of association, except those deemed politically incorrect or divisive.... And no, neither amendment should be parsed like the butcher job above. Then read the line: "provided that they (gun owners) register them". Holy historical revisionism, Batman! |

There have been numerous textbooks discovered that have re-worded the Amendment to fit the liberals' idea of what it should be. Parents have to stay on top of their kids' education so much these days, just to re-teach them the truth. |
I'm just happy my cats will never go through this blatant revisionist nonsense.
