Geez I'm surprised he would consider Dallas. Does he have a connection to Jerra?
Houston doesn't have a QB but will have a high enough pick to draft one I guess, or he gets Cutler or Mcgown in FA.

What's the connection with Moracco Brown?

And one of the most well respected former coaches, Joe Gibbs, has worked with Snyder and had a very good working relationship with him - so it goes either way. Just because one well respected coach wouldn't work for Snyder doesn't mean no other well respected coach wouldn't as well. And secondly, why is it that the head coach must be a big name? This sounds like Vinny Cerrato / Gerry Snyder talk.
We keep discussing who our next coach will be and how the Redskins won’t be able to get a top tier coach. Let’s discuss the top tier coaches that are currently available. The only one that may coach again is Jon Gruden. So when Tony Dungy says “He would never coach for an owner like Snyder” I don’t care. He was a tier 2 coach until he went to Indy.

While Shanny hasn’t been successful in Washington, he has made the job easier for the next coach. Shanny brought in Bruce Allen to manage Danny, and Bruce has been successful at keeping Dan in the back ground. While I believe they need to bring in a new GM to help with player evaluation, the next coach shouldn’t have to deal with the owner meddling in the day to day activities.

You are correct, for some reason I though he won 2.

Would be a shame if Bill Obrien went to Houston before we even got an interview
Rg2 has been lobbying for the guy.... You think he's done that without rg3s blessing? Are you that naive? Either way, it doesn't matter - Chris's Russell said that based in his sources, Snyder and Allen have no interest in Briles. Thank goodness for that.
You mean the same Chris Russell that said Daniel Snyder & Bruce Allen had interest in Art Briles based on his sources 5 weeks ago on the sports fix? That Chris Russell? The Chris Russell that said based on his sources the Redskins were going to sign Matt Flynn and were not interested in P.Manning? That Chris Russell? The same Chris Russell that thinks Jim Haslett is a defensive god and that Bill Cowher is going to suit up and ride to Ashburn in a pumpkin? That Chris Russsell?

Can't think of a name that carries less weight in regards to Redskins information than that Chris Russell...

I'll go back to watching the mayhem..

No it wouldn't. Gives us a higher likelihood to grab Lovie then, assuming Garrett keeps his job another year. I think he will.

I'm not sure that I get the love for Lovie. In 9 seasons in Chicago:

wins 81
wins per year 9
losses 63
win pct. .563

3 playoffs in 9 years
playoffs win pct. .500
1 conference championship

That is an average to a bit above average record to me. But it is nothing that great. 2 out of every 3 years as a coach he watched the playoffs from the couch just like me.

I'm gonna toss a name out there, Aaron Kromer. Worked under Sean Payton and now Marc Trestman, 2 QB gurus. He's an offensive line guy so you know he would prioritize that unit. Ties to Bruce Allen from Tampa. Should be able to get a good staff together.

Thoughts?
