Awesome!

you posted something about asking about why i thought consoles be obsolete soon, its gone now, i came back to answer it.

Anywho, i just think mobile gaming is eventually take over as much as i hate mobile gaming. Not sure how many of my sons generation camp out on console or play AAA games like RDRD or Man of War. Ultimately i think his generation kills console.

Also eventually someone will make a Stadia like box that actually works but i guess that is still a console.

IDK just my two cents.

Yeah I just think we're a ways off before consoles go away completely, if they do.

I have it, it's good. Typical COD stuff. The new PS5 controller makes it really interesting though. Different guns have different trigger feels.

Just saying, but in PLAYER READY ONE no one owned a console.

Did Cyberpunk2077 release?

Ive seen countless funny memes about cyberpunk being delayed and delayed .. ive never played the game or know anything about it.

Now I see memes on how many bugs it has ...

video games are confusing and scary to me

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

It's out today I think. Sounds like there are bugs and issues on the xbox one and PS4 versions, less so on series x and PS5. You would think a game that's been in development for so long would be ready to rock and roll on release. I'm not in a rush to get it. Let them iron out all the bugs.

is there a program or way people can donate their old x box or PS4 to kids in need? but it would actually go to poor kids and not some profit siphoning scheme like Kars 4 Kids?

Good question I'd just contact some local agencies, maybe start with Social Services to see what they suggest

I don't have the Xbox yet, still on it's way.

Can't really go wrong with either one. PS is great for the exclusives, but I also really like game pass on the Xbox. Just depends on which side you lean to.

I'd bet the S gets phased out rather quickly. I guess if you don't care about 4k it makes sense, but that 500 gb hard drive is really weak.

Agree, my son has always been a Xbox kid so that is what he wants. If i had a extra $500 i get the PS5.

to me this the best year of gaming, i keep my old console buy games i wanted on the cheap and finish up the games i like on the old console then this time next year i get the PS5 and hopefully by then the PS4 is on its way out and the PS5 is humming along.

Go with the S for now, and in 2-3 years when they release the Xbox Series X slim (or whatever they'll call it) upgrade then.

You'll definitely want an external hard drive for extra storage now

Game pass ultimate ($14.99 per month) also gives you access to EA Play, so yeah you can play Madden, NHL, NBA, etc.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

Ive said this bunch of times on here before but I get 1-2 free nights a week to drink beer and play video games until 1 am or so without family obligations etc ... usually Thurs night and maybe a Saturday night (from like 11 pm to 1 am or so).

Just completed my second playthrough of RDR2 last week. Not sure what Im going to do tonight. third play through? play RDR1 again?

I need to come up with a new game bc my lady got excited and thought that meant wed spend time together tonight since im done "my game". i love her and all, we spend a lot of time together, best friends, etc but I really like knowing on thursday night at 9 pm, im a free man at least until 1 am or so.

These 4 hours arent just video game time .. its 4 hours I know I get to just hang loose and not deal with any real world obligations .. video games is just a conduit to shut out outside noise. anyways ..

Witcher 3 - probably give this another try tonight, just start from the beginning. idk once im like 3 beers in, the spells and stuff get too complicated.

or

GTA5 - will probably buy and download this tonight.

cyberpunk for x box one?

Bought GTA5 and Madden 21.

im officially an old white guy. GTA was all n word this and suck my dick that. I got 30 mins into it and felt my fragile sense of peace and tranquility in my home disappear. Doubt I play it again

Madden 21 - was alright, ill play a few seasons

rdr2 - im going back for a 3rd go around.

-----
batman games seem like their action rpg types which I tend to have trouble with remembering button sequences and stuff. I am not a skilled video game player. Like Witcher3 seems like an awesome game, I just cant get into it. I dont know why.

It's hard to find a game that scratches that same itch as RDR2. I'm on play through #3 myself. Also still playing a ton of Ghost of Tsushima. That game is so good especially on the PS5.
