How the hell are masks unnecessary? So when surgeons wear masks in the operating room are they unnecessary? No. They prevent the spread of germs. Just like they do now. You know why flu cases were down last flu season? Masks. Not because hospitals were saying the flu was covid for money. An Army veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan died in Texas from a treatable illness all because no ICU beds were available.
Daniel Wilkinson, 46, fell ill on Aug. 21, his mother, Michelle Puget, told Fox News. The next day, the family took him to an emergency room near their Bellville home, where he was diagnosed with gallstone pancreatitis. Puget said the doctors told her they knew how to treat him and that all was needed was to get him to an ICU bed. Unfortunately, the Bellville hospital was not equipped with the necessary equipment or personnel needed for the operation Wilkinson needed. Because of the surge of the delta variant of COVID-19, hospitals have been overwhelmed with patients and there were no ICU beds available for Wilkinson. ARKANSAS RUNS OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE BEDS FOR COVID PATIENTS: ‘CRITICAL’ The doctors and nurses, Puget said, "called all the hospitals in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Colorado and couldn’t get him a bed." Man I don't know how our medical professionals are doing it right now, seems likely in the future we're going to see a lot of them with PTSD, substance abuse issues, etc. So frustrating when there's a legit light at the end of the tunnel with the vaccines, yet some would rather not get it or inject themselves with horse dewormer. How the hell did we get here?

They already have it, I see it firsthand every time I'm in a hospital as of late. I don't know how some of them are pretending to be cheerful and enthusiastic when I'm there. Imagine working an essential life saving job and treating people who are convinced you don't know what you're doing. Or treating patients who are wondering why you won't approve using Ivermectin to treat covid. It makes me curious to wonder how many have left the field because they can't take it anymore. |

Two of the FDA's top vaccine regulators, Marion Gruber and Phil Krause, are leaving the agency The Biden administration left a bad taste within the science community last month after officials said booster doses of the mRNA vaccines would be available for Americans starting Sept. 20, pending FDA evaluation of data. But many vaccine researchers thought the Biden administration neutered the FDA by saying boosters were going to happen on a specific date, even though the FDA's review had barely begun. Welp |

I’m certainly not advocating Ivermectin, but we got here because around the world in 3rd world countries with terrible healthcare systems used it out of desperation and their cases plummeted. Case in point is India. I work with several teams in India daily…it was terrible there. There hasn’t been substantially research to say Ivermectin worked or any significant data, but this is how we got there. Ivermectin is actually prescribed for human use as well. When it comes to treatment , the guy who got it right was Ronny D and his push for monoclonal antibodies. Extremely effective. Now we are seeing other states pushing for these sites to open and get in operation. This is a policy/operation strategy which should be adapted all over the country. |

Totally, I wouldn’t use something unless my doctor advised me. Period Then I read today Joe Rogan…Apparently the biggest podcaster in the country…got covid…was apprehensive about the vaccine, but unknown if he got vaxxed. Announced he took a cocktail of different treatments including ivermectin and is better. Completely irresponsible IMO. So this is how we got here…and continue to get there. Folks listen to your doctor…always. |
Re: Coronavirus (political)
Pretty sure Rogan got the vax, but yeah the drug cocktail he said he got including a z pack? WTF is he doing?

Re: Coronavirus (political)
I think a major blind spot in the covid strategy is development/access to home testing for covid. I can’t believe looking at all the money that states are literally sitting on unspent that no one has moved for comprehensive at home testing. We could work in coordination with pharmacy to disperse test and allocate medical facilities to handle results.
Also, with the delta variant affecting those under 18, I’d like to know what the schools and teachers union did with the billions in funding they received from the spring bill to get their schools ready over the summer for this years school year. So as you prepare your children to go back, you should be asking a school administrators that directly. Focusing in getting the vaccine created was a win, bigly win. We need to operation warp speed a home testing strategy. |

Reddit has, what I think, is a poor taste thread called the "Herman Cain Award" and it features people's social media posts mocking Covid then social media posts showing theyve died from Covid.
https://www.reddit.com/r/HermanCainAward/ What I find scary is the people on here dying arent 80 or 90 year olds. Theyre dads. Theyre 40 to 60 years old. I just started taking an auto immune injection that changes the way my auto immune system responds. Im 70/30 on masks. Most times I wear them in stores but Ill walk down a halfway or be at work without one. Im certainly exposing my self at times. I have various kn 95s. I think the cloth masks are useless. I dont know man ... Im going to be more vigilant going forward. Daughter wanted to do laser tag but I had to say no. Be smarter. |

At least some people can use it as a learning lesson - unless you have a serious medical condition that makes the vaccine risky you are otherwise betting on yourself against the virus. +1 We're past the point where you can claim the vaccine isn't legit or FDA approved, as we reach the point where doctors have to prioritize beds and supplies for those who have the best chance of surviving I have no problem with them prioritizing vaxxed over unvaxxed. |

I’m in Houston,I’m not surprised because nothing surprises me anymore, but people here don’t really give a fck about the mask anymore. Most retail stores the employees are wearing them(but not my work) but the majority of customers are not,and I don’t personally know of any stores that say mask required.
I took my dog to the vet today. Two or three months ago this vet was making you wait in car and they came and got your pet.So today I wore my mask inside only to find that not a single employee was wearing a mask.I thought that was strange, you went from not letting customers in to saying screw it. The delta variant is kicking ass and you’re packing NFL stadiums also,so NFL has said screw it also |

Also I gotta say - I find it absolutely hilarious Tucker is riding this swollen balls train as far as it will go. If Nicki was pro-BLM Tucker would disavow her - but now that their agendas align with being anti-vaxx he's quick to pick up on her cousins-brother's-friends story. Meanwhile the dude out just wanted some strange before he got married and now he's gotta ride this "vaccine caused my swollen balls" story out.
Lol…well the agenda aligned isn’t an anti-vax angle, it’s the government/media bullying of folks against a mandate. Tucker and Nicki say it’s a choice to vaccinate…my body, my choice, everyone supported that last week I thought? That’s the clip she highlighted and agreed with from Big Tuck |
Re: Coronavirus (political)
Funny how my body my choice suddenly holds water with a lot of folks out there.
What the Tucker/Minaj ridiculousness highlights more than anything, is we're all just getting sick and tired of the bullshit excuses for not getting vaccinated. If I hear someone say they are doing their own research one more time I swear. Sorry but going down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole on Google, YouTube, and Facebook doesn't qualify as doing "research". |
Re: Coronavirus (political)
People can absolutely be pro vaccine and anti mandate. I think most are…I believe in the science, but the government has no right to force a person to take vaccines.
That’s the issue Tucker was specific about in the Nicki ball story. That the one highlighted by Minaj, go back and look again at the clip in the shared tweet. The one that made everyone cry. The issue is not the ball story claim, it’s government mandate. |
Re: Coronavirus (political)
Ball story, FFS, what a fucking clown show Tucker is.
He wears giant fucking clown shoes. |
