I was hoping Morris would be a stud. I watched his you tube highlight reel and the kid blocked on the line and down-the-field. Maybe he will pick it up as we move in the preseason schedule.

Keiland Williams could beat out Parker. Wow.

I now remember seeing him returning kicks at TC also.
Has Dennis Morris been doing poorly in camp? I was sure he would be the replacement for Sellers in a year or two. I see on the depth chart he is 3rd string fullback. What's up with that?
He was very active on Saturday. Looked good on passing plays actually.

Here's a shot I got of him burning LaRon for a TD on a screen pass. This drill was for RBs/FBs. Didn't see him at TE at all.

I have faith that Dennis Morris will surprise the coaches in preseason and will be the backup FB and TE this year for us; as well as lay out a lot of returners on special teams!

After some more morning readin git seems as though Devin Thomas is really struggling getting free with his route running. This is more of a dissapointment to me, I am rooting for the guy but I don't want to continue to keep these 2 WR around if they can't get it done in practice. If we move on then so be it.

I think our top 3 WRs opening day will be Moss, Thomas, and Roydell Williams. By the end of September Kelly will creep into that top 3. Galloway will be a reliable #4. Austin will be the #5.

If there's a 6th WR it will be either Wade or Armstrong and he'll be on the inactive list most weeks. Likely though that Wade gets released before that happens.

I think Willie Parker's going to have a tough time making this team.
Mike and Mike on ESPN both picked the Skins to go 10-6. They picked the Eagles to go 8-8 and the Giants to go 6-10 and 7-9. Nice to see some love out there for once. Pretty much everything else I have read has them finishing last.
Skip Bayless, John Clayton, and Phil Simms are among others who also have been positive on the Skins

Portis and Johnson are locks for the top 2 spots. And with Parker's inability to consistently use his speed as well as his poor pass blocking skills, he'll have a time tough making it past the all-torain vehicle...TORAIN!

Maybe Parker makes it and Keiland Williams goes on the PS. But I think Parker gets cut, and either Williams makes the roster or they get another back. Would love to see them bring back Anthony Alridge.

Yep for the first time in a long time I think this positive hype is built upon solid positives that the Redskins have.

Well I'm not sure on Simms. But I know Bayless and Clayton have been bullish on the Redskins in recent years as well.

Your numbers don't add up. Wade or Armstrong would be the 7th WR, not the 6th.

1. Moss
2. Thomas
3. Roydell Williams
4. Galloway
5. Austin
6. Kelly (who will move to 3 at some point)
7. Wade or Armstrong.

So if we go with 5, who do you think those 5 will be? In my opinion, Galloway, Austin and Kelly are battling for two roster spots. The one most likely to get a spot is Austin in my opinion because he has special teams value.

Good point. Well then I think we go with 6 (the first six you have listed above)

6:
Moss, Galloway, Roydell, Thomas, Kelly
Austin/Armstrong whichever performs better on PR/KR

5: Moss, Roydell, Thomas, Kelly, Ausitn/Armstrong

John Clayton also thought we should have started Campbell back in 2007 against the Seahawks. Just saying. I do like the support of the other two though, oh and when is Sean Salisbury coming back? He's been on vacation for an awfully long time. Oh well, I guess thats the great thing about ESPN. Not only do you have mascots and athletes walking around the office but you offer great vacation packages.
