Me and the bro have been grinding GTAO enough that I haven't even bothered to play AC: Valhalla.

GTAO probably gonna occupy my attention until Far Cry 6 comes out.

This is the first time I'm thinking about not getting Madden on day 1. M21 was pretty bad. Need to hear some of the early reviews before I pull the trigger this year.

Meanwhile I'm loving The Show this year. EA needs to look at what that game does right because it's so much better than Madden.

Anyone here actually playing Madden this year? I've been a long time Madden guy basically since the beginning. This is the first year I didn't buy the game. The changes that were promised for franchise were mostly empty ones, and the same damn glitches and bugs have been in the game for years now. I've been having a blast with The Show though, that game really puts Madden to shame.

Yeah, it is horrible. I havent purchased Madden since Madden 17, they have been horrid. I love The Show

I've adopted the same strategy every year for the last 3-4 years. I get an updated roster on the previous version and play around with that in franchise mode until the current version gets heavily discounted (albeit this year that means playing 16 game seasons). I certainly won't invest heavily until I can get a series X (rare as rocking horse shit in the UK) so no way I'm paying out £50 or more, to play it on on my One S, especially as there's virtually no improvement across the board over M21. Hopefully if sales actually start getting hit then EA will get the message, but I'm not holding out any hope either happens.

I bought Madden 22 .. but havent played much of it. Also bought NHL22 and dont play that much.

Im close to the end of my 4th playthrough of RDR2. Just play that game about 4 hours twice a week or so, every week for over a year now.

Thinking of trying Last of Us or LOU2. i dont know.

I bought it and it's somewhat same as last year. Although I always play Madden online, I never played their franchise or any other game modes.

I forgot part two was out for LOU. First one was good its not as open world as RDR2 its more linear but good story line.

This is the primary reason I am not buying it until I can either get my hands on a series X (rarer than RHS in the UK) or at least until its massively discounted. Too much money for the same shit last few years.

Start following all the major retailers online, they’ll usually send out alerts when a drop is coming. Then you just have to be persistent. Took me about 45 minutes of adding it to my cart and repeatedly trying to check out before I finally got one. Pre-register on all the sites with your payment info already in there too.

I asked my son if he wanted it this year he said no, he plays it religiously

The issue right now for developers is we are going to the next gen but no one get the next gen, the masses are still on xbox one and ps4. frustrating but regardless EA needs to drop madden give 2K a crack at it or someone else.

I haven't bought Madden in years because franchise mode was my jam and it's been garbage the last few years.

Also very happy I didn't buy the GTA trilogy (even though Vice City and SA are my favorite games of all time) because it became obvious a day into the release that it was a buggy POS cash grab by Rockstar. Sad how far they've fallen.

I checked out San Andreas on game pass and I was pretty surprised at how buggy it was, played for about 15 minutes and deleted it. Glad I didn't drop $60 on the trilogy.

Randomly went to Wal Mart today for grocery shopping, just decide to check out the game section and BAM there is one in the glass case. Couldn't believe it.

My son has had a picture of it we printed off the internet as a IOU sine Xmas of 12/20, I refused to pay scalpers.
