[quote=CultBrennan59;995716]He torched Dee Milliner of Alabama. I've wanted him since I saw him last year with Tannehill. I know this gets thrown around a lot, but if there ever was a 'next wes welker' he's the guy.

You dont know much about Geno then. the knock on Geno isnt his throwing ability, dude has all the tools physically. His footwork needs some work and he tends to sit in the pocket too long instead of taking something available in front of him or rolling out. But his biggest knock is that he's a headcase, if you hit him a few times or get in his head his game goes to complete sh*t. Accuracy and Arm strength are not the questions surrounding Geno. Also, just an fyi, its Tavon, not Tayvon. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
I'd go for mostly front seven an OL in this draft. Just keep working on winning in the trenches, we can't fill all of our holes and I think if we play well up front we can get by w smoke and mirrors and some budget FA types for now.

They will draft him in the 2nd round. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
The only major difference between Geno and RG3 coming out is accuracy to the deep outside area of the field. Geno throws it around pretty well, at least as well as Griffin did coming out.
The biggest difference is not the skill of the players at the top of the draft between 2012 and 2013, but the aggressiveness of the teams at the top. The Colts released Peyton Manning and the Redskins dealt 3 first round picks to set the table for the RG3/Luck draft. The Chiefs just...traded for Alex Smith. That's the biggest difference. |
Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects
^ I have to disagree the total over all player RG3 was better than Geno comming out of college
Geno- 4.59 40 33.5 inch vert 10.3 ft broad jump RG3- 4.41 40 39 inch vert 10 RG3 had a was a better talent and a stronger resume comming out of college. His record back him up. 78 td 17 ints plus RG3 was hurt for one year. Geno had 98 td 20 int |
