Hogs was a great nickname for the OL but as the name for the entire franchise? Hard pass. Sounds too minor league baseball to me.

Making the Brand video #2. Flip drawings have multiple redwolves artistry

Making the Brand video #3. Flip drawings highlights Wolves drawing, has a fan say I like (hogs) but not the red, and then has all the fans howling.

I said it's tinfoil style logic, but I think if the branding and marketing team is good at its job, those are the sort of leading placements that guide a market base towards a purchase without a full reveal.

Of course it is much more likely I am giving this organization WAY to much credit toward their ability to create subtle influence.

It’s gonna keep on going in circles .. let’s see it’s gonna take them 2 years to come up with a name ., wolves that we all could have picked and been done with it .. once the team decided to go away from NA theme names that narrowed it down a lot .. as some have said it’s a marketing thing .. keep us on the edge of our seat till the big announcement that will light this forum up like 4th of July 😀.. I can see it now 2 damn years for this lame ass name .WTF !!😀. They say they are not keeping WFT .. so I’ll just refer to them as WTF !! I hope we have a solid season and go deep into playoffs .. would they change the name IF we get to super bowl under WFT ? It’s just more drama from Snyder .. it keeps him in the news , we will see how this plays out ..

On Adam Scheffter's podcast, Tanya confirmed they are down to 3 names, and that those 3 were picked out of :
Redwolves, Redhogs, Armada, Defenders, Commanders, Presidents, Brigade and WFT.

Sidenote, obviously this is the narrative they want to push, and it can't be 100% true... But it may be more true than we thought: Tanya was very good at sounding in charge. Poised voice, way better than Dan at expressing herself. Talked about how "I always knew I would have my own business", talked several times about having been the "back up QB" for a long time and now "stepping off the bench".

I think it says a lot about Dan's understanding that he needs to step down from the spotlight that she's "allowed" to picture herself as the face and leader of this franchise to that extent.
Of course, again, can't be 100% true, but she was way better at it than I expected. Listening to her you would think her being in charge has always been the plan...

Washington Defenders is just as lame as Cleveland Guardians. Presidents is dumber than both of them.

I'd be fine with Redwolves, Redhogs, Armada, Commanders, Brigade or WFT.

From the 8 name list the only other one I kinda like is Redhogs, but it'd easily be made fun of.

Now, I know I'll eventually get on board with the new name whatever it is. Hopefully we get a decent logo.

People keep saying and yet we keep having huge hints towards Redwolves. Overall I think we're fooling ourselves if we actually think they're gonna let this multi billions dollars franchise renaming be leaked out. At least not so early before the actual reveal.

Redwolves, Armada, & Commanders are my guesses for the top 3. Honestly, out of all the choices I've seen, I'd rather just keep WFT. I think I feel that way simply because I am having a hard time letting go of Redskins after all these years. Another name for this team just doesn't feel right, but that's where we're at...

I think Redwolves is there only to throw us all off, and it will be Armada or Commanders. Which one? I don't really care at this point. Nothing is going to be perfect after following this team as the Redskins for over 40 years, but once they put the whooping on Dallas for the first time everything will be A OK.
