Bonus for Calrson et al as they can report ad nauseum on this, talking about the diary and just keep it in the news cycle for eternity .. whether the diary is authentic, whether it was fruits of stolen labor, doesnt matter anymore.

Carlson/Hannity will spoon fed the right (and the obligatory im sure left media people will spoon feed their constituents like baby birds with their mouths open).

Misinformation is everywhere .. just wish it wasnt amplified by the major networks

Not that it much matters. Decorum and statesmanship are d.e.a.d.

Biggest liar wins in America. Biggest mouth wins.

America .. where we are letting the dumbest and least educated drive the bus. Yeehaww! This bus runs on liberal tears!

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

I absolutely believe this would be treated differently if it was a Trump family diary. But that doesn't even matter. I just don't understand justifying bad behavior because other people have or will behave badly (in your eyes). So literally you act like the people you think behave inappropriately. But I'm part the problem, I've definitely done this before here myself (but I have no impact on anything). Also:

A. It's a fucking diary, can't believe I'm even discussing this, can't believe this is even a story.

B. Conservatives can't keep playing this stupid game. The ends do not justify the means. There is a right way to do things and then there are the other ways. Do things the right fucking way.

read a couple articles on this, sounds bad and with no real quick solution.

I know nothing about water plants/utilities but it sounds like they dont even know what the main pumps have failed.

you cant flush your toilet, cant take a shower.

solution -- increase quantity so pressure is back then focus on quality. boil your water for 3 minutes.

Water is vital.

Cant imagine what they are going through in the next week

If you just come to the Warpath you would actually think Trump is President, but that’s the democrats strategy

Biden list of failures

Lead us into a measurable economic recession

Afghanistan debacle where he left American and Allies while letting the Taliban capture the government costing the US 13 lives

Record inflation costs as a result of the American Rescue Plan spending. Food prices and rent prices out of control.

Record energy cost which lead a Biden to beg the Saudis for oil. Natural gas and gasoline prices have soared as well as our energy output. We exported energy before Biden

Record violence in cites lead by democrats defund the police strategy, criminal justice reforms which have failed at every level

Border open policies allowing drug cartels record money in human trafficking, kids being raped and people dying the at border in record number. Kids in cages still a thing

Record Fentanyl death which Biden still hasn’t addressed. These drugs are moving across an open border

Out of control spending which Biden lied wouldn’t raise taxes on the middle class…it will and the CBO confirms, taxes will be raised on people making under 400k

IRS expansion which will go after small business owners and the middle class, increasing audits.

War in Europe which Biden failed to stop

Biden national Covid response was a lie and failure. “Pandemic of unvaccinated”, “you won’t get Covid if you get the shot”….all lies from Biden. He supported keeping your kids out of school which was a complete failure and incompetent approach.

An administration which has not been honest, secretive and Biden refuses to answer questions from the media and has not sat down from for interviews. There has been less transparency with this administration. He doesn’t believe he should answer for his poor policies.

Baby Formula shortage which the government knew about for 5 months before acting when it was too late.

If you voted for Biden, you voted for these failures above. Plain and simple

Lol. I couldn’t get past your first statement. Usually there is no reason to but in this case I literally was laughing so hard I couldn’t read.

The WP thinks Trump is still President. Um. No. We actually know he isn’t. It is you, and your MAGA king and brethren that think that. Y’all are voting for members of Congress who share your belief. Your MAGA king is actually trying to start a civil war because he believes he is still President. You are hysterical.

We all have Trump fatigue.

Any one else says or does this and its huge and everyone would hammer them.

Trump?

We just accept that he spews lies and half truths and go "thats just Trump"

We are talking about a former fucking President of the United States that was a tv reality star

Its nuts.

And he is going to be our president again but this time hes going to go full trump. This Country will burn down.

I think Nixon had a campaign slogan 'Tan, rested and ready" that Riggins played off of?

Trumps will be "Orange, radicalized and venegfull"

You do realize Trump wanted to do the same in Afghanistan? With an arguably worse timeline.

And the war in Europe? That would have been even worse as Trump would have opposed support to Ukraine, Russia likely would have won by now and Finland and Sweden probably wouldn't be part of NATO (Heck we might not even have been part of NATO by now).

Biden definitely didn’t deliver on Covid. More deaths than the previous administration with 2 vaccines and a head start on distribution. Allocated millions money for testing and there was no tests with omicron came. Also chose to divide and blame…along with misinforming the public with messaging. Also supported the incompetent strategy of keeping kids at home and young children masked…learning loss like we’ve never seen.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/26/coronavirus-trump-claims-the-worsening-us-outbreak-is-a-fake-news-media-conspiracy-even-as-hospitalizations-rise.html

President Donald Trump claimed Monday that the worsening coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. is a “Fake News Media Conspiracy.”
Trump has repeatedly downplayed the virus and has insisted that the U.S. has more cases than any other country only because the nation tests more people.
Public health officials and infectious disease experts dispute that claim, saying the rate of tests that are positive and hospitalizations are on the rise in several states.

President Donald Trump on Monday claimed the worsening coronavirus outbreak in the United States is a “Fake News Media Conspiracy,” saying the nation has the most cases in the world only because “we TEST, TEST, TEST.”

“Corrupt Media conspiracy at all time high,” Trump said in a tweet Monday morning. “On November 4th., topic will totally change,” he added, referring to the day after the presidential election.

Trump’s tweet came as the U.S. is reporting a record-breaking number of new coronavirus cases. On Sunday, the country reported a weekly average of about 68,767 new cases every day, the highest seven-day average recorded yet, according to a CNBC analysis of Hopkins data. The U.S. reported 60,789 new Covid cases Sunday after daily cases reached 83,757 on Friday, passing the last record of roughly 77,300 cases seen on July 16, according to Hopkins data.

Trump, who tested positive for the virus earlier this month, has repeatedly downplayed the virus and insisted that the U.S. has more cases than any other country only because the nation tests more people. But public health officials and infectious disease experts dispute that claim, saying the rate of tests that are positive and hospitalizations are both on the rise in several states.

Saw this "Stop Biden's Bailout for Rich Kids" tv ad yesterday during the Os game.

It was funny

But also exactly what is wrong with this country

-----------

Target relief dollars to low- and middle-income borrowers. The Department of Education estimates that, among borrowers who are no longer in school, nearly 90% of relief dollars will go to those earning less than $75,000 a year. No individual making more than $125,000 or household making more than $250,000 – the top 5% of incomes in the United States – will receive relief.

Help borrowers of all ages. The Department of Education estimates that, among borrowers who are eligible for relief, 21% are 25 years and under and 44% are ages 26-39. More than a third are borrowers age 40 and up, including 5% of borrowers who are senior citizens.

Up to 20k for Pell Grants and 10k for non Pell Grants.

------------

Can we agree that this tv ad is misinformation?

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

Apropos of nothing...

I was just reading some politically charged comments on the Brian Robinson thread but decided it wasn’t the right place to respond, so I’m responding in this thread.

First, any violent crime is terrible and should not be tolerated. That being said, there were many comments in the thread about how violence in DC has spiraled out of control. It needs to be pointed out that violent crime in Washington, D.C. is currently—and across the board—nearly a third of what it was 30 years ago. By across the board, I mean murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, and vehicle theft. I lot of people simply won’t believe that, but that’s because they choose belief over knowledge.

Again, violent crime no matter the frequency is terrible. And it is unfortunate that there has been an uptick in recent years, but it’s important to keep in perspective that even with the recent increase, violent crime rates are still lower than what anyone would have thought was imaginable a generation ago. Our society as a whole has become substantially less violent, that’s from coast to coast, and north to south. And the attempts to correlate crime with liberal policy is just silly. Consider the states with the 7th highest murder rates in 2021: Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, South Carolina, Tennessee. Those are not exactly bastions for progressive social justice policy.

The sky isn’t falling, the apocalypse isn’t nigh. Relax.
