But what if ... And it's a BIG if ... Tannehill is evaluated and he's ultimately a quarterback that would be the type to excel in the Shanahans' system? ... What do you think they should do? I think IF this is the case, there shouldn't be any messing around. If you have a quarterback that you like - available at the spot that you're drafting then I believe you can't take the risk of trading down or waiting. This is the position that will make or break an entire nfl organization. |

With a million games on the schedule, don't you have to have patience in general as a regular baseball fan?

Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........
I we cant reach for RG3 and get peyton manning then trade down and get young stud OL, WR can be upgraded thorugh FA (vjax and Reggie wayne)

If we have PM, who knows could go Claiborne assuming JB is not there. OL is a good possibility or WR. I have no idea, so many variables out there.

I don't see Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan reaching for a QB like Tennesee and Minnesota did in last year's NFL draft. The Redskins, if unable to get Griffin III, should then trade back and use their 6th overall pick to acquire a mid 1st round selection and additional picks for the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Then and only then would taking Tannehill be a smart move. At least we still get our QB even if it isn't truly the one we want, and we get more draft choices to fill other holes along the roster. |

I disagree that Tannehill is not a top-10 pick. And I also think that not getting our guy at the most important position on the field is foolish. You do whatever it takes to get your guy, not a good enough guy. |

That would be like MIN taking Riley Reif or DeCastro. It's doesn't seem as crazy further down the draft, picks 15-32 per se. |
