Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
Does the FO realize we dont have any starters at the Safety position? We need to get that done and we need to sign Fletcher or Tulloch today. A nickle corner would be nice as well.
If I was the skins I would look towards the draft to pick up a S (I know it's a crappy class). I would see about moving up to grab Harrison Smith, S, Notre Dame or Markelle Martin, S, Oklahoma State.
I like Markelle Martin a lot. He has great range and he's a hitter. I also like Brandon Taylor who I think is very underrated. It's hard to stand out in such a great secondary as the one he played in at LSU. |

i dont see many starting safetys out there. Lofton is another good option at lb too |
Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
Ive seen a few sites referring to our interest in Ben Grubbs, I would have thought hes a bigger guy then Shannahan wants, but cant deny the guy can block. Maybe having a fast qb makes it not as much of an issue (even luck is fast for a qb)

He is already familiar with ZBS, so I think it might make sense to try and make a play for him. We've been lacking a solid oline for the longest time, it would be nice to have another solid building block. |

I know I might be in the minority here, but I feel like the O-line was less than stellar, but more of the problem was WR and QB. I feel like teams started to stack the line and dare us to throw realizing we don't have any threats if you take away the run game. Also, the Beck games really inflated the sack numbers. |

Completely agree. I think RG3 will mask a significant portion of the deficiencies of the O-line, but I'm still not comfortable with that ragtag group of players going out there... |

I more or less agree with you. The OL is much better than when Shanny got here. And our new QB may make last year's line look better all by himself. While the line still needs improvement, it is better than other pieces made it look last year. |

Grubbs found religion and isn't coming here

Welp, there goes my last fifteen minutes arguing why we needed to sign Grubbs... |
Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
good. hes too expensive for a postion that isnt as dire of a need. i'd much rather sign the eagles backup on the cheap and go hard after winston to play RT.

I think we are going to have deal with a meh secondary. Hopefully and improved offense and a more experienced front seven will help to overcome that defficiency (see GMen)

You are probably right on that one. I don't think we will make a push for anyone beyond the CB out of NY and Meriweather. |
