I hope Portis is smarter so he doesn't embarrass himself. I heard an interview this weekend. He seems content with his career being over.

Geesh. Does EVERYTHING have to be twisted into racism? I though this President made us a post-racial society...he said so!

Look at a Silverback Gorilla....a huge, muscular, feared beast who can't be taken down. It's a comparison any lineman would want, no matter his skin color.

I never once called Willliams this with any hint of racism or thought of his skin color on my mind. I think Thompson is buying into the Jackson/Sharpton "cry racism for 15 minutes of attention" tactic. I thought he was better than that.

I think there might be something to Trent's perception of a generation gap. I understand Thompson's take but I also understand Trent's.

Of course the ages of the two will cause them to see it differently, but Thompson is the one who publicly brought up the racial accusations against "white folks".
